The Central Florida Youth and Family Camp (CFYFC) is a peaceful, rural, 85-acre parcel on the grounds of the Deseret Ranch. The camp is located approximately six miles north of Route 192 between St. Cloud, FL, and Melbourne, FL. Click on left map below for more detailed Directions. The camp is open all year, Monday through Saturday.
CFYFC is ideal for LDS group and family activities, including Young Women's activities, Young Men's activities, mother/daughter campouts, father and son campouts, youth conferences, young single adults events, single adults events, Boy Scouts of America campouts and activities, ward events, stake events, family campouts, family reunions, special-purpose small group outings, and many, many more wholesome activities.
Cabins: There are eight cabins. All are heated or air conditioned. All cabins are equipped with 10 bunk beds to accommodate 20 people. Campers must bring their own air mattresses or foam pads. Also includes a partitioned Leader section.
Large Pavilion: The Large Pavilion is a screened, multi-functional area that can be used for meals, meetings, cooking, crafts, and activities for groups up to 240 people.
Smaller Pavilion: The Smaller Pavilion is a multi-functional area that can also be used for such things as meals, meetings, cooking, crafts, and activities for groups of 100 or less people.
Tent Sites: CFYFC has sixteen tent sites. Each has access to the Bath House. Most have a cement pad with a picnic table and fire ring.
RV Sites: The RV sites complete with hook-ups are located behind the Smaller Pavilion. During YW Camps they are reserved for leaders with RV's. At other times they may be reserved by others. CFYFC has two trailers for use by campers. They can be used to house Priesthood brethren who come to help with YW camps and YW leaders. They also can be rented by others when not reserved for YW Camps. Each trailer is equipped with stove and refrigerator and full bath. The Stake Leaders trailer is furnished with dishes for cooking small meals and eating utensils.
Bath House/Restrooms: The large, centrally located Bath House is air-conditioned and provides multiple sinks, a large well-lit grooming area, private hot showers, and modern flush toilets. The Bath House is handicap accessible.
