Weber River Recreation Camp is on 116 acres of aspen, fir trees and meadows in a beautiful mountain setting. It is located 10 miles northeast of Kamas, Utah at 7000 feet elevation. It has a scenic view from the camp of the Kamas Valley below. It is open from May through August.
There are 11 campsites with multiple tent sites that surround a partially enclosed pavilion, an amphitheater with fire pit, and new restrooms with flushing toilets and electricity. There are 2 sand volleyball courts, an archery range, 3 horseshoe pits and beautiful hiking trails. The camp will hold approximately 120 campers at a time.
Participating stakes are Salt Lake Bonneville Stake, Salt Lake Foothill Stake, Salt Lake Hillside Stake, Salt Lake Monument Park North Stake, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake, and Salt Lake Parleys Stake.
