Weather

Despite its tropical location, Guatemala City’s elevation makes for pleasant temperatures year round, with daytime highs typically in the 70s (22 to 26°C). Rain falls about half the days of the year for an average annual total of 48 inches, most of which is recorded during the wet season (May to October). The area is sometimes referred to as “the land of the eternal spring.”
