Why does video sometimes stutter or pause during playback?

Video may stutter or pause during playback if your Internet connection is not fast enough or if your computer has an unusually slow processor or little RAM (memory). Even on broadband connections, Internet congestion or traffic can result in choppy playback or repeated buffering.

How can I share a link to a specific video?

Use the Shared Video or Get Link options from the rollover menu buttons on the player. You can copy the link and paste it in an e-mail message or web page.

What does “Get Code” do?

The Get Code option allows you to copy HTML embed code for a player and paste it into your web page. You could use this option to make the LDS Media Player part of your web page.

Windows Media Player (Video or Audio Only)

LDS.org uses Windows Media Player from Microsoft to provide video and audio streams. To watch or listen to video or audio streams, you will need to have Windows Media Player installed on your computer if you do not have it already.

To test whether or not you have Windows Media Player on your computer, click Windows Media Player test. If a small window pops up and you hear audio, you already have the player. If your browser indicates that you don't have a necessary plug-in or helper application, then you can download Windows Media Player for free.
