A Mother's Christmas Prayer
Lullaby, Lullaby, Lullaby sweet little baby;
Lullaby, Close your eyes, as you dream;
Hear the soft falling snow.
Can you see, Can you tell, baby mine, of heavenly ones on high
who sent you from the sky as gently as the snow.
Long ago, far away, in a time almost forgotten,
heav’n above sent a sweet holy child
to a dark world below.
He would live, He would give his life to show,
thru’ willingness to die, that love could purify and make us clean as snow.
Father above, God of love hear my prayer, bless my little one,
Thru’ thy holy Son, to stay as pure as snow.
