Heart of Isaiah

Wandering,

Lost in the magnitude

Of the verses’

Symbolism,

Playing hide-and-seek

With my mind;

Meaning,

Slips through my fingers

Like dusty water,

Only enough

Left to

Whet my thirst for more;

Immersed,

In the poetry

Of the liquid words

To search again.

I am lost

In the heart

Of Isaiah.
