A realization

Thank you ever so much for the “Question and Answer” segment in the June 1996 New Era. So many people I know are getting tattoos. I have always thought it wrong. I was trying to be subtle in telling people that tattoos were not a good idea, and the New Era was the answer to my problem. Some of these people read the article and they came to the realization that tattoos are not appropriate.

Just right

I really enjoy reading the New Era. I especially like the Mormonads, which I post in my room. And the Mormonad postercards from your January (1996) special issue are just right for my locker at school. They have good, strong messages for youth.

Finding solutions

I want you to know how much I appreciate the New Era. Often when I am faced with challenges I turn to this magazine and read about someone else in much the same position and find solutions to my problems. As I get older I think more and more of going on a mission. I would like to suggest that you include more stories of young women and their experiences preparing to serve or while serving full-time missions. Thank you for producing such an inspiring and uplifting magazine.

A wonderful blessing

Receiving the New Era each month has been a wonderful blessing in my life. My family and I enjoy reading the Q&A to each other during family home evening. I love the Mormonads and FYI, and I especially appreciate the General Authorities’ messages. They are an inspiration to me. Thank you so much.

Q&A has helped

I’m not an avid reader, but I enjoy the New Era when I do read. I tend to turn to the Q&A section, and from my experience, I have found that it has helped me.

An instrument for youth

Thank you so much for the New Era. I love it like the scriptures, and I look forward to reading it every month. It’s not just a magazine full of wonderful stories, but also an instrument through which the youth all over the world can share their thoughts and feelings to others. I read the magazine and it strengthens my testimony just by knowing that I’m not the only young person in the Church with problems.

Information, please

I would like to say that I love your articles, pictures, and most of all, the doctrines you teach. Due to the fact that I love these things, I sometimes wish I could have a way to write and talk personally to the youth and people the stories are about. I would like to write to these people because they are spiritually in tune and have a love of the gospel. Thank you for your time and all the teachings contained in the New Era.
