    To rely upon or place confidence in someone or something. In spiritual matters, trust includes relying on God and his Spirit.

    • Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:Job 13:15;

    • God delivered his servants that trusted in him:Dan. 3:19–28;
    • I will trust in thee forever:2 Ne. 4:34;
    • Rejoice and put your trust in God:Mosiah 7:19;
    • Whoever puts his trust in God shall be lifted up at the last day:Mosiah 23:22;
    • Whoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials:Alma 36:3, 27;
