To rely upon or place confidence in someone or something. In spiritual matters, trust includes relying on God and His Spirit.
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him, Job 13:15.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, Prov. 3:5.

I will trust in thee forever, 2 Ne. 4:34.
Rejoice and put your trust in God, Mosiah 7:19.
