1 Again the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,
3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; aTurn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be astrong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:
4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.
3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?
1 Behold, I will asend my bmessenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly ccome to his dtemple, even the emessenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
1 And it came to pass that he commanded them that they should write the words which the Father had given unto Malachi, which he should tell unto them. And it came to pass that after they were written he expounded them. And these are the words which he did tell unto them, saying: Thus said the Father unto Malachi—Behold, I will asend my bmessenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly ccome to his temple, even the dmessenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in; behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts.
2 If ye will not ahear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a bcurse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
