On the cover: If adults want to gauge the spiritual strength of the upcoming generation, they need only look at Latter-day Saint children’s art, some of which is reproduced on this month’s cover. Children were invited to submit art on gospel themes. Although done with simplicity, their work demonstrates a depth of understanding. Art selected represents children’s wide range of interests—from the earth’s baptism at the Flood to the First Vision, meetinghouses, family home evening, and prayers with Heavenly Father.
