Directory for the Deaf

Deaf members of the Church, particularly those who use sign language to communicate, will be interested in a new publication recently prepared by the Church.

The Directory of Church Organizations, Facilities, and Services for Deaf Members Who Use Sign Language, 1979, lists Church units where sign language is used, temples with interpreted sessions, missions actively proselyting among the deaf, seminaries and institutes with signed or interpreted instruction, and other useful information.

While most of the listings are for the United States, there are thirty-one references to organizations, facilities, and services in eleven other nations.

Copies of the directory are available from Church distribution centers, stock no. PXWE0224, twenty-five cents each.
