This past general conference included a historical announcement! President Russell M. Nelson announced “a new balance between gospel instruction in the home and in the Church. We are each responsible for our individual spiritual growth.” This announced resulted in the introduction of new home-based curriculum, and a new Sunday church meeting schedule. We asked young adults what they thought of the news!

Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles added these promised blessings regarding the new changes, “We are confident that members will be blessed in extraordinary ways. Sunday can be a day of gospel learning and teaching at church and in the home. As individuals and families engage in family councils, family history, ministering, service, personal worship, and joyful family time, the Sabbath day will truly be a delight” (“Deep and Lasting Conversion to Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2018, 11). These new changes will be implemented in January 2019.
