Underwater School

I’ve heard that fishes go in schools.

I bet they have a list of rules,

Like “Don’t chew seaweed in your seat”

And “Raise your fin before you speak.”

In science class they’d study books

On how to dodge those deadly hooks.

“Current events,” each week or so,

Would teach them how the currents flow.

Health would teach which foods to eat

And how to keep their scales neat.

What a lot a fish could learn

In underwater school each term!
