Father’s Day Picture Cube

To make this Father’s Day gift, you will need: a small box (about 4″/10 cm square) with a lid; six pieces of heavy paper cut the same size as the sides, top, and bottom of the box; glue; crayons or markers; seam binding or 1/2″ (1.25 cm) strips of construction paper (optional).

  1. On the pieces of paper, color pictures of things you like to do with your dad, things your dad enjoys doing, or things you are thankful your dad does.

  2. Glue one drawing on the outside of each side of the box, the lid, and the bottom of the box.

  3. Glue the seam binding or construction paper strips over the corners of the box, if desired.

  4. Give the box to your dad to hold things, or fill the box with gravel or grain so he can use it as a paperweight.
