Scripture Fathers

On Father’s Day we honor the fathers and grandfathers who do so much for us. Fathers in the scriptures also did much for us. Can you match these scripture fathers with their descriptions? Check the scripture references if you need help.

5. Because of this father’s prayers, his rebellious son and his friends were visited by an angel and became great missionaries. (See Mosiah 27:8–18, 32, 36.)

e. Joseph Smith, Sen.

6. Because this man didn’t believe it when an angel told him that his elderly wife would have a baby, he was unable to speak until the baby was born. (See Luke 1:5–7, 11–13, 18–22, 57–64.)
