Valentine Wreath

To make this wreath, you will need: a stiff paper plate, scissors, glue, a pencil, red construction paper, and a black crayon or marker.

  1. Ask an older person to cut out the middle of the paper plate. The rim will form the wreath. (If the plate isn’t stiff, glue two plates together and let the glue dry before cutting out the middle.)

  2. Cut out two different-size heart shapes from the middle of the paper plate. Using these shapes as a pattern, trace lots of hearts on the construction paper with a pencil.

  3. Use the crayons or marker to write a message, or draw a picture on each heart, then cut it out and glue it onto your wreath.

  4. Give the wreath to your favorite valentine.
