Meet Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

He was very obedient growing up. One night he ran all the way across town to get home before his 10:00 p.m. curfew.In high school

He played football, basketball, baseball, ran track, and was voted the school’s outstanding athlete.

He served a mission in the British Isles.

While on his mission, he decided he wanted to become a teacher.

He married Patricia Terry in 1963 in the St. George Utah Temple.

He started as a seminary teacher in California.
