Iintsikelelo zokomoya nezethutyana ziza ebomini bethu njengoko siphila umthetho wesishumi.

Ndifuna ukuchaza izifundo ezimbini ezibalulekileyo endizifunde malunga nomthetho wesishumi. Isifundo sokuqala sigxile kwiintsikelelo eziza ebantwini nakwiintsapho njengoko bethobela ngokunyanisekieyo lo mthetho. Isifundo sesibini sigxininisa ekubalulekeni kwesishumi ekukhuleni kweBandla likaYesu Krestu labaNgcwele beMihla yokuGqibela kwihlabathi jikelele. Ndiyathandaza ukuba uMoya oyiNgcwele uqinisekise komnye nomnye wethu ubunyani bemigaqo endixoxa ngayo.

Amagatyana wamagorha kwiNcwadi kaMormoni (bona Alma 53; 56–58) aye athandaza ngokunyaniseka ukuba uThixo awomeleze kwaye awahlangule ezandleni zeentshaba zawo. Ngamanye amaxesha sisenokucela impumelelo kuThixo, kwaye Yena usipha amandla okwenyama nawengqondo. Sisenokucela ubutyebi, kwaye sifumane imbono ephuculiweyo kunye nomonde owongezelelweyo, okanye sisenokucela ukukhula kwaye sisikelelwe ngesipho sobabalo. Usenokusinika inkolelo kunye nokuzithemba njengoko sizabalazela ukufezekisa iinjongo ezifanelekileyo. Kwaye xa sicela uhlangulo kubunzima basenyameni, nobasengqondweni kunye nobasemoyeni, Yena usenokwandisa ukuzimisela kwethu kunye nokunyamezela kwethu.

Ndiyathembisa njengoko mna nawe siqwalasela kwaye sigcina umthetho wesishumi, eneneni iingcango zezulu ziya kuvulwa kwaye iintsikelelo zokomoya nezenyama ziya kuthululwa kangangokuba akuyi kubakho gumbi lonele ukuzifumana (bona Malaki 3:10). Siya kukhumbula isibhengezo seNkosi:

“Kuba iingcinga zam asizizo iingcinga zenu, neendlela zenu asizizo iindlela zam, utsho uYehova.

“Inene, njengokuba izulu liwuphakamele umhlaba, ngokunjalo iindlela zam ziziphakamele iindlela zenu, neengcinga zam ziziphakamele iingcinga zenu” (Isaya 55:8–9).

Ndiyangqina ukuba njengoko simamela ngokwasemoyeni kwaye siqwalasela, siya kusikelelwa ngamehlo awabona ngokucacileyo ngakumbi, nangeendlebe eziva gqolo ngakumbi, kunye nangeentliziyo eziqonda ngokugcweleyo ukubaluleka kunye nokungaqondakali kweendlela zaKhe, neengcinga zaKhe, kunye neentsikelelo zaKhe ebomini bethu.

Isifundo Senani lesi–2—Ubulula beNdlela yeNkosi

Ngaphambi kobizo lwam njengelungu leQumrhu labaPostile Abalishumi Elinambini, ndandifunde amaxesha amaninzi kwiMfundiso neMinqophiso malunga nebhunga elibekelwe ukuba lijongane kwaye lisasaze neemali ezingcwele zesishumi. IBhunga loChitho lweZishumi lalisekwe ngesityhilelo kwaye liqulathe uBongameli bokuQala, neQumrhu labaPostile Abalishumi Elinambini, kunye noBubhishophu oBongameleyo (bona IMfundiso&neMinqophiso 120). Njengoko ndandilungiselela kweyoMnga 2004 ukuzimasa umhlangano wam wokuqala weli bhunga, ndandilindele ngomdla eli thuba lokufunda liphawuleka kangaka.

Ndisakhumbula izinto endabanamava wazo kunye nendandiziva kwelo bhunga. Ndaye ndazuza uthando olukhulu kunye nentlonelo ngemithetho yeNkosi yezezimali zabantu, neezentsapho, kunye nezeBandla laYo. Inkqubo esisiseko yezezimali yeBandla likaYesu Krestu labaNgcwele beMihla yokuGqibela—eyengeniso kunye nokusasazwa kwayo—ichazwa kula macandelo 119 kunye nele 120 weMfundiso neMinqophiso. Iingxelo ezimbini ezifumaneka kwezi zityhilelo zibonelela ngesiseko semicimbi yezezimali zeBandla.

Icandelo 119 lichaza ngokulula ukuba onke amalungu “aya kuhlawula isinye eshumini sayo yonke inzala yawo ngonyaka; kwaye oku kuya kuba ngumthetho omileyo kuwo ngonaphakade, … itsho iNkosi” (umqolo 4).

Ngoko ke malunga nokusasazwa kwezishumi, yathi iNkosi, “siya kuchithwa liqumrhu, elakhiwe ngoBumongameli boKuqala beBandla lam, nebhishophu nequmrhu layo, nangequmrhu lam eliphezulu; nangelizwi lam kubo, itsho iNkosi” (IMfundiso&neMinqophiso 120:1). “Ibhishophu nequmrho layo” kunye “nequmrhu lam eliphezulu” ekubhekiswa kuwo kwesi sityhilelo aziwa njengoBubhishophu oBongameleyo kunye neQumrhu labaPostile Abalishumi Elinambini, ngokulandelelana kwawo. Ezi mali zingcwele zisetyenziswa kwibandla elikhula ngokukhawuleza ukusikelela ngokwasemoyeni abantu kunye neentsapho ngokwakha nangokugcina iitempile kunye nezindlu zonqulo, nokuxhasa umsebenzi wokufundisa ivangeli, nokuguqulela kunye nokupapasha izibhalo ezingcwele, nokukhuthaza uphando lwembali yosapho, nokuxhasa izikolo kunye namaziko emfundo yezenkolo ngokwezimali, kunye nokufezekisa ezinye iinjongo ezininzi zeBandla njengoko kukhokelwa zizicaka zeNkosi ezimiselweyo.

Ndiyamangazwa yingcaciso kunye nobude obufutshane bezi zityhilelo zimbini xa zithelekiswa nezikhokelo ezintsokothileyo zezemali kunye neenkqubo zolawulo ezisetyenziswa kwimibutho emininzi nakoorhulumente kwihlabathi jikelele. Ingaba imicimbi ebambekayo yombutho omkhulu ofana neBandla elibuyisiweyo likaYesu Krestu ingenziwa njani ukuba isebenze kwihlabathi lonke jikelele ngokusebenzisa imiyalelo emifutshane ngolu hlobo? Kum impendulo ingqale ngqo: lo ngumsebenzi weNkosi, Yona iyakwazi ukuwenza umsebenzi waYo (bona 2 Nifayi 27:20), kwaye uMsindisi uyaziphembelela kwaye azikhokele izicaka zaKhe njengoko zisebenzisa izikhokelo zaKhe kwaye zisebenza kwinjongo yaKhe.

Kulo mhlangano wokuqala webhunga ndandichukunyiswe bubulula bemigaqo eyayikhokela iingxoxo kunye nezigqibo zethu. Kwimisebenzi yezezimali zeBandla, imigaqo emibini esisiseko kunye nesisigxina iyaqatshelwa. Owokuqala, iBandla lichitha oko inalo kwaye alichithi ngaphezulu kunoko likufumanayo. Owesibini, isahlulo sengeniso yonyaka sibekwa bucala njengovimba ukwenzela iimeko zikaxakeka kunye neemfuno ezingalindelekanga. Kwiminyaka yamashumi ngamashumi iBandla lifundise amalungu alo umgaqo wokubeka bucala ukutya okongezelelekileyo, namafutha okubasa, kunye nemali yokukhathalela amaxesha kaxakeka awanokuthi avele. IBandla njengeziko ngokulula lilandela imigaqo efanayo efundiswa ngokuphindaphindeneyo kumalungu walo.

Njengoko umhlangano wawuqhubeka, ndazifumana sendinqwenela ukuba onke amalungu weBandla ukuba abenokuqwalasela ubulula, nengcaciso, nocwangco, nesisa, kunye namadla endlela yeNkosi (bona IMfundiso&neMinqophiso 104:16) yokuqhuba imicimbi yexeshana yeBandla laKhe. Ngoku ndiye ndathatha inxaxheba kwiBhunga loChitho lweZishumi kangangeminyaka emininzi. Umbulelo wam kunye nentlonelo yam kwindlela yeNkosi ithe yakhula unyaka ngamnye, kwaye nezifundo endithe ndazifunda ziye zaba nzulu ngakumbi.

Intliziyo yam igcwele uthando kunye noncomo kumalungu awanyanisekileyo kunye nawathobelayo weli Bandla awaphuma kuzo zonke izizwe, iintlanga, neelwimi, kunye nabantu. Njengokuba ndihamba hamba umhlaba, ndiyafunda malunga namathemba kunye namaphupha wenu, neemeko ezahlukeneyo zokuphila kwenu, kunye nemizabalazo yenu. Ndiye ndazimasa imihlangano yeBandla nani kwaye ndandwendwela amanye wamakhaya wenu. Ukholo lwenu lomeleza ukholo lwam. Ukuzinikela kwenu kundenza ndizinikele ngakumbi. Kwaye ukulunga kwenu kunye nentobeko yenu elangazelelayo kumthetho wesishumi ziyandiphembelela ukuba ndibe yindoda, nomyeni, notata, kunye nenkokheli yeBandla engcono. Ndikhumbula kwaye ndicinga ngani ngalo lonke ixesha ndithatha inxaxheba kwiBhunga loChitho lweZishumi. Enkosi ngokulunga kwenu kunye nangokunyaniseka kwenu njengoko nihlonipha iminqophiso yenu.

Iinkokheli zeBandla leNkosi elibuyisiweyo ziva uxanduva olungathethekiyo lokukhathalela ngokufanelekileyo iminikelo engcwalisiweyo yamalungu weBandla. Siyazi kakuhle imo yemalana yomhlolokazi.

“Waye uYesu ehleli malungana nomkhumbi wokulondoloza imali, ekhangela ukuba sithini isihlwele ukuphosa imali yobhedu emkhumbini wokulondoloza imali; zaye izityebi ezininzi ziphosa kakhulu.

“Kwafika umhlolokazi uthile ulihlwempu, waphosa iimalana zambini eziyikodrante.

“Ebabizele kuye abafundi bakhe, uthi kubo, Inene ndithi kuni, Lo mhlolokazi ulihlwempu uphose ngaphezu kwabo bonke abaphosileyo emkhumbini wokulondoloza imali:

“Kuba bonke abo baphose bethabatha kwikhupha labo; ke yena ekusweleni kwakhe uphose konke abenako, impilo yakhe iphela” (Marko 12:41–44).

Ndiyazazela ngokwamava wam ukuba iBhunga loChitho lweZishumi linonophele kakhulu ekukhathaleleni iimalana zomhlolokazi. Ndivakalisa umbulelo kuMongameli Thomas S. Monson kunye nabacebisi bakhe ngobunkokheli babo obusebenzayo ekwenzeni obu bugosa bungcwele kangaka. Kwaye ndiyalibona ilizwi (bona IMfundiso&neMinqophiso 120:1) kunye nesandla seNkosi ekuxhaseni izicaka zaYo ezimiselweyo ekuzalisekiseni umsebenzi wokuyimela Yona.

Isimemo kunye noBungqina

Intlawulo enyanisekileyo yesishumi ingaphaya komsebenzi nje; ilinyathelo elibalulekileyo kwinkqubo yokuzingcwalisa. Kwabo benu bahlawula isishumi, ndiyanincoma.

Kwabo benu okwangoku bangathobeli umthetho wesishumi, ndiyanimema ukuba nicingisise iindlela zenu kwaye niguquke. Ndiyangqina ukuba ngentobeko yenu kulo mthetho weNkosi, iingcango zezulu ziya kuvulelwa nina. Ncedani ningawulibazisi umhla wenguquko yenu.

Ndiyangqina ukuba iintsikelelo zokomoya nezethutyana ziza ebomini bethu njengoko siphila umthetho wesishumi. Ndinika ubungqina bokuba iintsikelelo ezinjalo zibalulekile kodwa aziqondakali rhoqo. Kwaye ndiyabhengeza ukuba ubulula bendlela yeNkosi obubonakala kwimicimbi ebambekayo yeBandla laYo ibonelela ngeendlela ezingasikhokela nathi njengabantu kunye neenstapho. Ndiyathandaza ukuba omnye nomnye wethu angafunda kwaye azuze kwezi zifundo zibalulekileyo, egameni elingcwele leNkosi uYesu Krestu, amen.
