Nephi Obtains the Plates
“I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded” (1 Ne. 3:7).
Read: 1 Nephi 3; 4:1–13, 20, 26 [1 Ne. 3; 1 Ne. 4:1–13, 20, 26]
Instructions: Remove this page from the magazine, color the figures, and mount them on heavy paper; then cut out the figures and glue pieces of flannel on the backs. Read the scriptures listed, then retell the Book of Mormon story while placing the figures on a large piece of cardboard that has been covered with flannel.
Optional: Figures may also be enlarged, mounted on cardboard, and affixed to sticks.
