• “Your Mission—A Spiritual Adventure,” page 12: Elder David B. Haight explains that many missionaries sacrifice something they love to serve a mission. How do the blessings outweigh the sacrifice?

• “Missionary Work and the Atonement,” page 26: Elder Jeffrey R. Holland sometimes asks missionaries what they want investigators to do as a result of the discussions. The missionaries, he says, almost never identify “the two most fundamental things we want investigators to do prior to baptism.” What are those two things, and why are they so important—not only for investigators but also for missionaries and members?
