Child of Light

1. Child of the light,

Awaken to the morning,

Strength you shall find to learn and to grow

In pathways of dawn.

2. Child of the light,

Today is your beginning.

Seek for that light from whence you have sprung,

Your time to know has come.

Oh child, search to know who you are;

Search to know Him whose child you are.

Find those things most precious in life before the nightfall comes.

Child, only you can complete your day’s journey;

Take courage now for the day has begun;

Child, seek the light.
