To Those with Pure Intent

1. To those with pure intent and contrite hearts,

Who seek to know the Lord of truth and light,

A promise unto them is giv’n:

The Holy Spirit’s flame shall light their minds.

2. To those who read and ponder on the word,

Who call upon the Lord in faith and prayer,

All truth the Spirit shall confer.

Truth is the way to freedom unimpaired.

3. The Book of Mormon is the word of God.

The promise to each seeking soul is true.

And those who seek in faith, who want,

The Spirit fills; their souls by truth renewed.
