How Do I:

Q. How do I get back to the home page of LDS.org?
To get back to the home page of LDS.org, click the Church’s logo at the top of any page in LDS.org. (This is a common method in modern websites.)


Q. Do I have to sign in to use LDS.org?
No. The site is generally open for access by anyone. However, if you wish to access your ward or stake information, you need to sign in so we know who you are and how to direct you to the right ward or stake information. Leaders also must sign in to access confidential records and information on the Leaders site.


Q. How do I create my profile for mormon.org?
You can create your personal profile at https://mormonorg.lds.org/profile.


Q. I want to sign in to my ward and stake directory, but a message is asking me for an LDS Account name and password. How do I get an LDS Account?
To establish your LDS Account, please have your membership number and date of birth, and go to https://ldsaccount.lds.org/sign-in/go/login.jsf, where you will click on Register here and then enter your membership number and date of birth as prompted.

At the bottom of most of the pages of the LDS.org website, there is a light blue banner that you can click to leave feedback comments and requests.

The Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL)?

Note: You must be a Church leader with proper credentials to access this section of the website.

  1. At the top of any LDS.org web page, click the Sign In/Tools link.
  2. In the options that appear, click the gray box that says Sign In/Tools.
  3. Enter your LDS Account username and password. (If you don't have an LDS Account, you will need to sign up for one and then proceed to the next step.)
  4. From the options that appear, click Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders.

  1. Go to leader.lds.org, sign in, and access the directory.

The Missionary Online Recommendation System?

If you are a prospective missionary:

  1. At the top of any LDS.org web page, click Resources.
  2. In the General column, click Service Opportunities.
  3. On the left side of the page that appears, click Full Time.
  4. In the middle of the page that appears, click Full-Time Missionary.

If you are a local clerk or leader:

  1. At the top of any LDS.org web page, click the Sign In/Tools link.
  2. In the options that appear, click the gray box that says Sign In/Tools.
  3. Enter your LDS Account username and password. (If you don't have an LDS Account, you will need to sign up for one and then proceed to the next step.)
  4. From the options that appear, click Missionary Recommendation.
