When the Savior appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery to restore important priesthood keys, which prophets accompanied Him? How do temple ordinances enable us to have eternal families? How do keys of the restored priesthood allow families to be sealed together forever? From the Kirtland Temple in Kirtland, Ohio, President Boyd K. Packer of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles testifies of the Savior’s deep interest in providing the covenants and ordinances vital for our living and deceased family members to achieve exaltation as members of eternal families. This is a “supernal work; it is a work designed of the Lord,” President Packer declares. “The mind of man could not have conceived it.”
Special Witnesses of Christ
As we celebrate the Easter season, the testimonies of prophets and apostles called as special witnesses of the Savior, always relevant, become particularly poignant. In this series, those testimonies are presented, beginning with the First Presidency and continuing through the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Powerful individually, when presented as a group these testimonies provide an undeniable witness that the Savior lives.
