Q: How do I adapt a lesson for a child, youth, or adult with a disability?
A: Teachers and leaders are to use Church-approved curriculum and resources. However, lessons and activities can be adapted to fit individual circumstances. For example, a child with an attention deficit disorder may need more songs or crafts related to the lesson. A youth with autism may need to communicate using pictures related to the lesson, or a teacher may need to use more visual resources.
