Adapting lessons for members with disabilities can help them learn and progress spiritually. Here are a few resources to help you know how to adapt lessons for individuals with disabilities:
- “How Do I Help This Child?” Danyelle Furguson, Liahona and Ensign, Feb. 2012, 56.
- “Advice for Dad,” Katie Steed, Weekly Tips and Tricks, LDS.org, March 16, 2012.
- “How to Adapt a Lesson,” LDS.org/disability.
Information on adapting lessons for more specific disabilities can be found on lds.org/disability in the disability list.

Welcome to Disability News and Updates. This site is designed to share information, updates, and news about disabilities and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On this site we will post links to Church magazine articles, updates to lds.org, links to disability-related News and Events articles, along with other information as it relates to disabilities and the gospel.
Through this site, we hope to make members more aware of disability resources available to individuals, families, and leaders. We also hope that this site will offer support to members as they work to include members with disabilities in their wards and branches.
