Have the youth bring their cherished photos and documents to be scanned and preserved. They can even upload the photos to their Family Tree on FamilySearch.org. We suggest that you coordinate and hold this type of event in the cultural hall of your local church building.
You will need the following:
- Computers and flatbed scanners sufficient for the number of participants. (Photos need to be scanned at 300 DPI – documents need to scanned as PDF’s)
- Internet connection if you are planning to have them add their photos to the tree
- Participant photos and documents
- Hard drives or flash drives (encourage participants to bring one in order to copy their files for personal use)
