Needed: Photos and Video of FamilySearch Indexing

Are you involved in FamilySearch indexing to transcribe the names and important details from historic records? Maybe you know of others who are helping. The Church has an immediate need for photos and videos of individuals, groups, and families working on FamilySearch indexing projects. Also needed are photos of multi-generational families and groups reviewing family histories and family photo albums together.

You can help by creating photos and short videos that meet the descriptions below.

Photo Ideas – Emphasis on International and Multicultural Settings

  • Multi-generational photos showing grandparents, parents, and children in various combinations—both using the computer together and looking at family history books or photo albums together
  • Youth indexing (ages 13 and up)
  • Families indexing
  • Individuals indexing
  • Indexing training sessions
  • Stake indexing activities
  • Learning family history
  • Parents or grandparents teaching family history to children
  • Places you can index from (car, hotel, yard, etc.)
  • Some shots looking over the shoulder of a variety of ethnicities and/or multi-generational groups with the FamilySearch indexing tool up in the background would be helpful.
