Opportunity Description

As a Specialized Missionary, you will be assigned to projects aligned with your expertise and the current needs in the department. You will use your career or hobby skills to further family history work. This will be accomplished as you work from SLC Headquarters, from your home, or in your local community.

Who Can Serve: Full and Part-time Missionaries


Opportunities vary and constantly change. There is always a need for personnel in the following areas:

  • Administrative (leadership, office administrative, organization)
  • Communications (marketing and outreach skills)
  • Data Processing (working with excel data bases)
  • Non-English Language skills and translation (reading and writing in Spanish, Italian and Slavic languages are always needed)
  • Technical Writing or Programming skills (project management, web development, program management)
  • Training will be provided
