Puff of White

Yesterday

I saw a puff of white

from a dandelion

go ’round and ’round

with a little breeze

just above the ground.

I tried to catch it

on the summer lawn,

But it swirled

and twirled

in a whirl

of wind

above my head,

and then was gone.
