Ngaahi Talaʻofa Fakaepalōfita Fekauʻaki mo e Hakó

ʻOku hā e lea ko ʻení ʻi he Ngaahi Akonaki ʻa e Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá, ʻa ia ne fakatahatahaʻi ʻe he Palōfita ko Siosefa Filitingi Sāmitá lolotonga ʻene ngāue ko e fai hisitōlia mo tauhi lekooti maʻá e Siasí: “ʻI he taimi ʻoku silaʻi ai ha tamai mo ha faʻē, ʻokú ne maluʻi ai hona hakó ke ʻoua naʻa nau mole, ka ʻe fakahaofi kinautolu ʻe he angamāʻoniʻoni ʻa e fuakava ʻenau tamaí mo e faʻeé.”2

ʻI ha akonaki tatau mo ia ne fai ʻe he Palōfita ko Siosefá, naʻe pehē ai ʻe ʻEletā ʻOasoni F. Uitenei (1855–1931) ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ʻi he 1929: “Naʻe fakahā ʻe he Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá—pea kuo teʻeki ai ke ne akoʻi mo ha tokāteline ʻe fakafiemālie ange ai—ʻe hanga ʻe he ngaahi sila taʻengata ʻa e ngaahi mātuʻa faivelengá pea mo e ngaahi talaʻofa fakalangi kuo fai mai kiate kinautolú koeʻuhí ko ʻenau tōtōivi loto-toʻa ʻi he Ngāue ʻo e Moʻoní, ʻo fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu pea mo honau hakó foki. Pea neongo ʻe hē atu ha niʻihi ʻo e fanga sipí, ka ʻoku ʻafioʻi maʻu pē kinautolu ʻe he tauhi-sipí, pea ʻe hokosia ʻa e taimi te nau ongoʻi ai e ala mai ʻa e toʻukupu ʻo e Māfimafi Fakalangí ʻo puke atu ʻa kinautolu mo fakafoki mai ki he lotoʻā sipí. ʻOku hanga ʻe ha niʻihi ʻo e kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí ʻo fakaʻuhingaʻi e lea ʻa Siosefa Sāmita mo ʻOasoni F. Uiteneí, ʻo pehē ʻe kei maʻu pē ʻe he fānau talangataʻá ʻa e ngaahi tāpuaki ʻo e fakamoʻuí neongo pe ko e hā e meʻa ʻe hokó, koeʻuhí ko e faivelenga ʻenau mātuʻá. Neongo ia, ʻoku fakaʻalongaua e foʻi fakaʻuhinga ia ko ʻení ʻe he foʻi moʻoni ko ia ne ʻikai maʻu ʻe he kau faihisitōlia ʻo e Siasí he taimi ko iá, ʻa e talanoa kakato ki he malanga ʻa e Palōfitá ʻi he taimi ne nau fakatahatahaʻi ai ha ngaahi fakamatala kehekehe ʻo ʻene ngaahi akonakí mei he fakamatala ne hiki ʻe Uiliate Lisiate mo Uiliami Keleitoní. ʻI ha fakamatala kakato ange naʻe hiki ʻe Hauati mo Maʻata Kōleí, ʻoku hā ai naʻe fakaʻuhingaʻi ʻe Siosefa Sāmita ʻene fakamatalá ke makatuʻunga hono maʻu e ngaahi tāpuaki kuo talaʻofá ʻi he talangofua ʻa e fānaú:

“ʻI he taimi [kuo sila] ai ha faʻē mo ha tamai ʻa ha fāmili, ko ʻena fānau ko ia ʻoku teʻeki ai maumaufonó, ʻoku nau malu pē kinautolu ʻi he sila kuo fai ʻe he ongomātuʻá. Pea ko e Fakapapau ʻeni ʻa e ʻOtuá ki heʻetau Tamai ko ʻĒpalahamé, pea ʻe tuʻuloa ʻo taʻengata ʻa e tokāteline ko ʻení.”4

ʻOku tonu fakatokāteline ange ʻa e fakamahino ko ʻení. Ka ne taʻeʻoua e fakamatala makehe ʻoku maʻu ʻi he lekooti ne tohi ʻe Kōleí, ʻe hanga ʻe he foʻi fakakaukau ko ia ʻo e fakamoʻui taʻetuʻungaʻa maʻá e fānau talangataʻá, ʻo fakafepakiʻi ha ngaahi akonaki mahuʻinga lahi ʻa e Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá, ʻo kau ai ʻa e tefito ʻo e tui hono uá ʻa ia ʻe “tautea ʻa e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá koeʻuhí ko ʻenau ngaahi angahala ʻanautolú pē.” (Tefito ʻo e Tui 1:2).

ʻOku fenāpasi e mahino ko ʻení pea mo ha ngaahi sīpinga lahi ʻi he ngaahi tohi folofolá. Hangē ko ʻení, naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻAlamā ki hono foha ko Kolianitoní:

“Kae vakai, ʻoku ʻikai te ke lava ʻo fufuuʻi hoʻo ngaahi hiá mei he ʻOtuá; pea ka ʻikai te ke fakatomala, te nau tuʻu ko ha fakamoʻoni ke talatalaakiʻi koe ʻi he ʻaho fakaʻosí.

“Ko ʻeni ʻe hoku foha, ʻoku ou fakaʻamu ke ke fakatomala pea liʻaki hoʻo ngaahi angahalá, pea ʻikai toe muimui ʻi he ngaahi holi ʻa ho matá, kae fakafisi koe mei he ngaahi meʻá ni kotoa pē; he ka ʻikai te ke fai ʻeni ʻe ʻikai te ke momoʻi lava ʻo maʻu ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá. ʻOiauē, manatu pea toʻo kiate koe pea fakafoki koe mei he ngaahi meʻa ko iá” (ʻAlamā 39:8–9; tānaki atu hono fakamamafaʻí).

Naʻe fakahā ʻe Samuela ko e tangata Leimaná ki he kau Nīfaí:

“Pea ko ʻeni manatu, manatu, ʻe hoku kāinga, ko ia ia ʻokú ne malaʻiá, ʻokú ne malaʻia ʻiate ia pē; pea ko ia ia ʻokú ne fai angahalá, ʻokú ne fai ia ʻiate ia pē; he vakai, ʻoku mou tauʻatāina; ʻoku fakangofua ke mou ngāue maʻamoutolu pē; he vakai, kuo tuku kiate kimoutolu ʻe he ʻOtuá ha ʻilo pea kuó ne fakatauʻatāinaʻi ʻa kimouto.

“Kuó ne tuku kiate kimoutolu ke mou ʻiloʻi ʻa e leleí mei he koví, pea kuó ne tuku kiate kimoutolu ke mou fili ʻa e moʻuí pe maté; pea te mou lava ʻo failelei pea toe fakafoki ʻa kimoutolu ki he meʻa ʻoku leleí, pe fakafoki kiate kimoutolu ʻa e meʻa ʻoku leleí; pe te mou lava ʻo faikovi, pea toe fakafoki ʻa e meʻa ʻoku koví kiate kimoutolu.” (Hilamani 14:29–31; toki fakamamafaʻi).

ʻOku lahi ha ngaahi potu folofola kehe ʻoku nau fakamoʻoniʻi foki ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ia ʻoku hoko e houʻeiki tangata mo fafiné ko ha kau fakafofonga kuo tāpuekina ʻaki e tauʻatāina ke filí pea ʻoku nau haʻisia ki heʻenau fakakaukaú, leá mo e ngāué.5

Ko e Toʻukupu ʻo e Mafimafi Fakalangí

ʻOku ʻikai ha toe lekooti ia ʻa e Siasí ki ha ngaahi akonaki makehe fekauʻaki pē mo e tefito ko ʻení ne fai ʻe he Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá. ʻE lava ke fakamatalaʻi e “ngaahi toʻukupu ʻo e Māfimafi Fakalangí” ne fai ʻe ʻEletā Uiteneí, ko ha faʻahinga mālohi fakalaumālie ia ʻokú ne tohoakiʻi fakalangi mai ha tamasiʻi ke fāifai pē peá ne toe foki mai ki he lotoʻā sipí. He ʻikai lava ke hanga ʻe he faʻahinga mālohi ko iá ʻo ikuʻi e tauʻatāina ʻa e fānaú ke nau fili ki he moʻui maʻá, ka te ne lava ʻo fakaafeʻi pea mo taʻalo mai kiate kinautolu. “ʻOku ʻi ai ha tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻi he lea ko ʻení ʻoku ʻikai ke faʻa fakatokangaʻi ʻa ia kuo pau ke nau fakatomala kakato pea ʻmamahi ʻi heʻenau ngaahi angahaláʼ mo ʻtotongi honau moʻua ki he fakamaau totonú.ʼ ʻOku ou ʻiloʻi ko e kuonga ʻeni ʻke teuteu ai ke feʻiloaki mo e ʻOtuá.ʼ [ʻAlamā 34:32]. “ʻPea ʻo ka hili ʻa ʻenau totongi ʻa e tautea ʻo ʻenau ngaahi maumau-fonó, pea fufulu ʻa kinautolu ʻo nau maʻá, te nau toki maʻu ha totongi ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngaahi ngāué, he ko e kau ʻea-hoko kinautolu ki he fakamoʻuí.ʼ

“ʻOku tau manatu ki he hanga ʻe he foha maumau-koloá ʻo maumauʻi ʻene tukufakaholó, pea ʻi heʻene ʻosí, naʻá ne toe foki pē ki he fale ʻo ʻene tamaí. Naʻe tali fiefia ai ia ke ne foki mai ki he fāmilí, ka kuo ʻosi kotoa hono fakamoleki ʻa ʻene tukufakaholó. [Vakai, Luke 15:11–32.] He ʻikai fakataʻeʻaongaʻi ʻe he ʻaloʻofá ʻa e fakamaau totonú, pea ʻe toki lava pē ʻa e mālohi ʻo e sila ʻa e mātuʻa faivelengá ʻo maʻu ʻenau fānau moʻui talangataʻá ʻo kapau te nau fakatomala pea tuʻunga ʻi he Fakalelei ʻa Kalaisí. ʻE fiefia ʻa e fānau talangataʻa ʻoku fakatomalá ʻi he fakamoʻuí pea mo e ngaahi tāpuaki kotoa ʻoku fononga fakataha mo iá, ka ʻoku kehe ʻa e hakeakiʻí ia. Kuo pau ke ngāueʻi kakato kae toki maʻu ia. Kuo pau ke tuku ki he ʻEikí mo ʻEne ʻaloʻofá ke Ne fakapapauʻi mai pe ko hai ʻe hakeakiʻí.

ʻOku fuʻu tokosiʻi ʻaupito ha niʻihi ʻoku nau angatuʻu pea fuʻu lahi ʻa ʻenau ngaahi fai koví ʻo ʻikai te nau toe maʻu ai ʻa e ʻmālohi ke fakatomala mei heʻenau ngaahi angahalá.’7 Ko e fakamaau ko iá kuo pau ke tuku foki mo ia ki he ʻEikí ke Ne fai. ʻOkú Ne folofola mai kiate kitautolu, ‘Ko au ko e ʻEikí, te u fakamolemoleʻi ʻa ia ʻoku ou loto ke fakamolemoleʻí, ka ʻoku ʻekeʻi meiate kimoutolu ʻa hoʻomou fakamolemoleʻi ʻa e kakai kotoa pē” [T&F 64:10].

“Mahalo ʻoku ʻikai ke tuku mai ke mahino kakato kiate kitautolu ʻi he moʻuí ni ʻa hono mālohi kakato ʻo e silaʻi e ngaahi mātuʻa anga māʻoniʻoní ki heʻenau fānaú. Mahalo ʻoku ʻi ai ha ngaahi maʻuʻanga tokoni lahi ange ʻoku ʻikai ke tau ʻilo ki ai.8 ʻOku ou tui ʻoku ʻi ai ha mālohi fakafāmili ʻoku tokoni mai ʻo hangē ko e mālohi ʻo ha ngaahi kui ʻofeina ʻoku nau tokoni mai kiate kitautolu mei he tafaʻaki ʻe taha ʻo e veilí.”9

ʻOku hanga ʻe he ngaahi akonaki ʻa Palesiteni Fausí ʻo fakamāʻopoʻopo lelei mai e meʻa ʻoku tau ʻilo mo taʻeʻilo ki ai fekauʻaki mo e ngaahi mātuʻa angatonú pea mo e fānau talangataʻá. ʻE lava ke hoko e ivi takiekina ʻo e ngaahi mātuʻa ʻoku nau fakaʻapaʻapaʻi ʻenau ngaahi fuakavá mo talangofua ki he ngaahi fekaú, ko ha tokoni fakalaumālie mālohi ia ki he fānau ʻoku nau hē atú, ʻaki ʻenau fakaʻaongaʻi e toʻukupu ʻo e Māfimafi fakalangí — ʻi ha ngaahi founga kuo teʻeki ai ke fakahā kakato mai pea ʻoku teʻeki ai ke mahino kakato. Neongo ia, ko e ivi tākiekina ko ia ʻo e mātuʻa angatonú, ʻoku (1) ʻikai ke nau fetongi ʻe kinautolu ʻi he moʻui ʻa ha taha, ʻa e fie maʻu ko ia ki he mālohi huhuʻi mo fakamālohia ʻo e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí, (2) ʻikai ke fakataʻeʻaongaʻi ai e nunuʻa ia ʻo hono fakaʻaongaʻi taʻemāʻoniʻoni ʻo e tauʻatāina ke filí, pea ʻoku (3) ʻikai ke ne taʻofi ʻe ia e fatongia fakafoʻituitui ʻo ha taha ke ne “fili maʻanautolu pē kae ʻikai fakamālohiʻi ke ngāué” (2 Nīfai 2:26).

ʻE lava ke maʻu ʻe he ngaahi mātuʻa faivelengá ha mālohi ke faʻa kātaki ʻi heʻenau muimui ki he sīpinga ʻa e ngaahi mātuʻa angatonu kehe ʻoku ʻi ai haʻanau fānau talangataʻa. Naʻe hanga ʻe he Tamai ko Līhaí ʻo toutou poupouʻi maʻu pē ʻa hono ongo foha talangataʻá ke na tafoki ki he ʻEikí. “Pea lea foki ia kia Lēmiuela: Taumaiā ke ke hangē ko e teleʻá ni ʻo tuʻu maʻu mo tuʻu ʻaliʻaliaki taʻe lava ke ueʻi ʻi he tauhi ʻo e ngaahi fekau ʻa e ʻEikí!

“Ko ʻeni naʻá ne leaʻaki ʻa e ngaahi meʻá ni koeʻuhí ko e kia-kekeva ʻa Leimana mo Lēmiuelá; he vakai, naʻá na lāugna ʻi ha ngaahi meʻa lahi koeʻuhí ko ʻena tamaí” (1 Nīfai 9–11).
