Lehi and Sariah’s family kept growing in the promised land. Their children had children of their own. Lehi was getting old. Before he died, he gave blessings to the people in his family. He told them that when they kept God’s commandments, the Lord would help them.

Those who went with Nephi were called Nephites, and those who stayed were called Lamanites. The Nephites asked Nephi to lead them. They worked hard. They farmed, raised animals, and built a temple and other buildings. Priests and teachers taught them about the Lord, and the people were happy.
