法利赛人和税吏

有两个人到圣殿去祷告，一个是法利赛人，另一个是税吏；税吏就是收税的人。大家都不喜欢税吏，觉得他们不诚实。

法利赛人站在很多人面前祷告，感谢神让他比别人好。他说他每个星期禁食两次，还缴付什一奉献。税吏则独自一个人站着，低着头祷告说：「神啊，开恩可怜我这个罪人！」

法利赛人认为自己十全十美，不需要神的帮助。而税吏知道自己不完美，需要神帮助。他很谦卑，并且请求神宽恕他。
