第47章：十个童女

耶稣说了一个故事，谈到有十个年轻的女子去参加婚礼。她们等待新郎到达，让她们进去参加婚礼，但是她们不知道新郎什么时候会到。

这十个女子带着油灯，其中五位很聪明，多准备了一些灯油。

另外五个很愚笨，只有灯里面有油。

她们等了很久，新郎一直没有来，灯里的油都用完了。这时候，那五个聪明的女子还有油可以倒进灯里，那五个愚笨的女子必须去买油才行。

她们离开的时候，新郎来了，新郎让那五个聪明的女子进去参加婚礼。

那五个愚笨的女子回来的时候，门已经关上，所以不能进去参加婚礼了。

Jesus Christ comes again and the righteous members are ready, but other members, like the foolish virgins, are not - ch.47-7

耶稣就像这个故事里的新郎，教会成员就好像那十个女子。耶稣再次来临的时候，有些成员已经准备好了，他们已经服从了神的诫命，有些人则没有准备好，不能在救主再次来临的时候和祂在一起。
