ʻI he Ngaahi Fakataha Alēlea ʻo e Lakanga Fakataulaʻeikí

ʻOku ngāue kātoa ʻa e kau palesitenisií, ngaahi fakataha alēleá, mo e kau pīsopelikí ʻo fakatatau mo e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e loto tahá mo e felotoí. Naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻEletā M. Lāsolo Pālati kuo pau ke loto taha ʻa e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ki muʻa pea nau toki fakahoko ha meʻa: “ʻOku mau aleaʻi ha ngaahi meʻa lahi ʻaupito, ʻo kau ai ʻa e anga hono puleʻi ʻo e Siasí mo e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hoko ʻi he māmaní, pea ʻoku mau fai ia ʻi he loto tauʻatāina moʻoni. ʻʻOku ʻi ai ha taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻoku mau faʻa aleaʻi ha ngaahi meʻa ʻo lau- lau uike, lau-māhina, pea ʻi he taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻoku aʻu ʻo lauitaʻu ki muʻa pea toki fai ha tuʻutuʻuni.”1 ʻOku mātuʻaki mahuʻinga ʻa e uouangatahá pea he ʻikai ke nau hoko atu ʻi ha faʻahinga tuʻutuʻuni kae ʻoua kuo nau uouangataha.

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe he ʻEikí kia Siosefa Sāmita ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni tatau ʻo e uouangataha ʻi he fakataha alēleá: “Pea ko e tuʻutuʻuni kotoa pē ʻe fai ʻe ha taha ʻo e ongo kōlomu ko ʻení, kuo pau ke fai ia ʻi he loto-taha kotoa ʻa e kōlomu ko iá; ʻa ia ko e pehē, kuo pau ke loto ʻa e tangata kotoa pē ʻoku kau ʻi he kōlomu taki taha ki he ngaahi tuʻutuʻuní, koeʻuhí ke ngaohi ʻenau ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni ʻa e kōlomu taki taha ke tuʻunga tatau hono mālohí mo e mafaí” (T&F 107:27).

Naʻe fakamamafaʻi ʻe ʻEletā Tēvita A. Petinā ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení ʻi heʻene pehē, “He ʻikai ke tau maʻu e laumālié ka ʻikai ke tau faaitaha.”2 Ko e taimi ʻoku tau taha ai ʻi he taumuʻá mo e lotú, ʻoku tau fakaafeʻi ʻa e tataki mo e ueʻi fakalaumālie mei he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní.

ʻI he ʻApí

ʻOku mahuʻinga ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e uouangatahá ki he ngaahi fakataha alēlea ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí, pea ʻoku mahuʻinga ia ki he nofomalí. Kuo akoʻi ʻe he Kau Takí ko e fakataha alēlea fakafāmilí ko e tefitoʻi fakataha alēlea ia ʻo e Siasí.3 Fakatokangaʻi ange kuo teʻeki ai ke nau akoʻi ko e husepānití ʻa e tefitoʻi fakataha alēleá pe ko e uaifí ʻa e tefitoʻi fakataha alēleá. Pea he ʻikai kaunoa mai ʻa e Tamai Hēvaní. ʻOku ʻikai faʻa kaunoa Ia ʻi he meʻa ʻoku ʻikai fakaafeʻi Ia ki aí.”4 Ko e kií ke fakaafeʻi moʻoni ia—kae ʻikai tekeʻi—ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní mei heʻetau ngaahi fealēleaʻakí. Kapau te tau ngāue fakataha ʻi he loto fakatōkilalo mo fefakafanongo ʻaki, te tau maʻu ʻa e tāpuaki mahuʻinga ʻo e fakahinohino ʻa e ʻEikí.

Naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe Palesiteni Siaosi Q. Kēnoni (1827–1901), Tokoni ʻUluaki ʻi he Kau Palesitenisī ʻUluakí, ʻoku poupouʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e faleʻi ʻa e kau taki ʻoku uouangatahá, pea te Ne fakaleleiʻi ʻa ʻenau palani ʻoku ʻikai fuʻu haohaoá mo “tokoniʻi ia ʻaki Hono potó mo e mālohí mo ʻai ia ke ola lelei.”5 ʻOku fai ʻa e talaʻofá ni ki he ngaahi fakataha alēlea kotoa pē, kau ai mo e ngaahi mātuʻa malí.

Te na fakapapauʻi fakataha ʻa e ngaahi fili ko ia ʻoku fie maʻu ai ke na felotoi ʻi hono aleaʻí, ʻi he fakahinohino mei he ʻEikí, folofolá, pea mo e ngaahi lea ʻa e palōfitá.

Tefitoʻi moʻoni 2: Kau Kakato

ʻI he Ngaahi Fakataha Alēlea ʻo e Lakanga Fakataulaʻeikí

ʻI he ako fakatakimuʻa fakaemāmani lahi ʻo Nōvema 2010, ne fakamatalaʻi ai ʻe Suli B. Peki, ko e palesiteni lahi ʻo e Fineʻofá, ʻa e potu folofola ko ʻení: “Mou fili ʻiate kimoutolu ha faiako, pea ʻoua ʻe tuku ke lea fakataha kotoa; kae tuku ke lea pē ha tokotaha, pea tuku ke fanongo kotoa pē ki heʻene ngaahi leá, koeʻuhí ka ʻosi lea kotoa ke fakamāmaʻi kotoa pē, pea ke maʻu ʻe he tangata kotoa pē ʻa e faingamālie tatau” (T&F 88:122). Naʻe hoko mai ʻa ʻEletā Uolotā F. Konisālesi ʻo e Kau Palesitenisī ʻo e Kau Fitungofulú ʻi heʻene fakamatalá ʻaki ʻene pehē ʻoku ohi mai ʻe he kau atú ʻa e ueʻi fakalaumālié.7 Ko e taimi ʻoku maʻu ai ʻe he taha kotoa pē ha faingamālie tatau ke leá, ʻoku mālohi ange leva ʻa e ngaahi fakakaukau ʻoku fakatahatahaʻi ʻe he kakai fakafoʻituituí.

ʻI he ʻApí

ʻOku akoʻi kitautolu ʻe he tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e kau atú hono mahuʻinga ke kau fakatouʻosi ʻa e ongo meʻa malí ʻi he fai tuʻutuʻuní. ʻOku ʻikai feʻunga ia ki he taha pē ke ne fai ʻa e ngaahi tuʻutuʻuní kotoa kae loto pē ki ai ʻa e toko taha ko eé. ʻOku aʻusia ʻe he ongo meʻa malí ʻa e lelei lahi ange ʻi he taimi ʻokú na fakatou feinga ai ke maʻu ha ueʻi fakalaumālie pea mo na fefakafanongoʻaki ʻi heʻena ngaahi fakakaukaú mo ʻena ngaahi ongó.

Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Hauati W. Hanitā (1907–95): “ʻOku tali ʻe he tangata ʻokú ne maʻu ʻa e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí hono uaifí ko hono hoa ʻi he fatongia fakatakimuʻa ʻi he ʻapí mo e fāmilí, ʻo ne ʻiloʻi mo kau kakato ʻi he ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni kotoa pē ʻoku fekauʻaki mo iá. … Ko e finangalo ʻo e ʻEikí ke hoko ʻa e uaifí ko e tokoni ki he tangatá (ko hono ʻuhinga ʻo e tokoní ko e tuʻunga tatau)—ʻa ia ko ha hoa tuʻunga tatau ʻoku mahuʻinga ʻi he fengāueʻaki fakataha kakató.”8 Naʻe ngaohi kitautolú ke tau fetokoniʻaki. Ko e taimi ʻoku tau fakaafeʻi ai mo tali ke kau atu hotau malí, te tau lava leva ke maʻu e taha ʻo e ngaahi lelei maʻongoʻonga ʻo e nofomalí.

ʻI he Ngaahi Fakataha Alēlea ʻo e Lakanga Fakataulaʻeikí

ʻOku mātuʻaki mahuʻinga ke mahino ʻa e ʻuhinga ʻo e puleʻí ʻi hono tataki mo fakahoko ʻo e fakataha alēlea ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí. Ko kinautolu ʻoku nau tokangaʻí ʻoku nau “leʻohi ʻa e siasí” (ʻAlamā 6:1) pea mo fatongiaʻaki hono fakapapauʻi ʻoku fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e uouangatahá, tatau e tuʻunga ʻo e kau maí, pea mo e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni kehe ʻo e fealēleaʻakí. ʻOku fakamanatu mai ʻe ʻEletā Pālati “kuo pau ke ʻoua naʻa teitei ngalo ʻiate kinautolu ʻoku nau maʻu ʻa e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí ʻoku ʻikai haʻanau totonu ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e mafai ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí hangē ha pōvaí ʻi he funga ʻulu ʻo e niʻihi kehé. … Ko e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí ke tokoni, ka ʻoku ʻikai ko e fakamoʻulaloaʻi; ke ʻofa, kae ʻikai ko e fakamālohiʻi; ke tokanga, kae ʻikai ko e puleʻi. Ko kinautolu ʻoku kehe ʻenau fakakaukaú ʻoku nau ngāue kinautolu ʻi tuʻa ʻi he ngaahi fakangatangata ʻo e mafai ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí.”9

ʻI he ʻApí

Ko e fatongia fakapēteliake ʻo e husepānití ʻi heʻene hoko ko e taha ʻokú ne tokangaʻi ʻa ʻapí, ʻoku ʻikai ko haʻane pule ki he toengá ka ke ne fakapapauʻi ʻoku tupulekina ʻena nofomalí pea mo e fāmilí.

ʻOkú na fakatou tokangaʻi ʻena nofomalí. ʻI he ngaahi fakataha alēlea māʻoniʻoni ʻo e nofomalí, ʻe fevahevaheʻaki ai ʻa e ongo meʻa malí ha ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga pau pea ko e taimi ʻoku fakaʻaongaʻi aí, ʻe tokoni ia ke na fetokangaʻi ʻaki ai.

Te tau lava ʻo muimuiʻi ha niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi meʻá ni ʻi he Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 121:41: “ʻOku ʻikai lava, pe ʻoku ʻikai totonu, ke ngāue ʻaki ha mālohi pe ivi ʻi he mafai ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí, kae ngata pē ʻi he feifeingaʻi ʻi he faʻa kātaki fuoloa, ʻi he angavaivai mo e angamalū pea mo e ʻofa taʻe-mālualoi.”

He ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí ke fakahaaʻi ʻaki hatau mālohi pe ivi. Ko ia ai, he ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo ngāueʻaki ha ngaahi founga taʻe-māʻoniʻoni ke fokotuʻu ʻaki hatau tuʻunga ke pule ʻi he nofomalí. ʻOku maʻu ʻa e mālohi moʻoní ʻi he taimi ʻoku tau ngāue fakataha ai ʻi he māʻoniʻoní pea tau taau ai mo e ngaahi tāpuaki mei he ʻEikí.

ʻOku hanga ʻe he ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e uouangatahá, kau maí, mo e tokangaʻi ʻi he māʻoniʻoní ʻo ʻai ke tau aʻusia ha felototahaʻaki mo hotau malí pea mo fakaafeʻi ʻa e Laumālié ki heʻetau moʻuí. ʻE hanga ʻe hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻo e angaʻofá mo e manavaʻofá ʻo holoki ha ngaahi taʻe-femahinoʻaki lahi, taki atu ki ha fiemālie lahi ange ʻi he nofomalí, pea mo langaki ha fetuʻutaki ʻe lava ke tuʻuloa ʻo aʻu ki ʻitāniti.
