Ke ʻi Ho Lotó ʻa e Melinó

Ko e hā ʻoku fie maʻu ai ʻa e ʻahiʻahí ki hono fakahoko ʻo e ngaahi taumuʻa taʻengata ʻa e ʻEikí?

Naʻe pehē ʻe Hāloti B. Lī, “Ko kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku moʻui ʻi he māmaní ʻe siviʻi kinautolu ʻaki ha ngaahi matangi ʻo e ʻahiʻahí.”1 Naʻe ʻikai ko ha meʻa foʻou e ʻahiʻahí kia Hāloti B. Lī ʻa ia naʻe mā- lōlō hono uaifi ko Feeni Tena Lií mo hono ʻofefine ko Mōlini Lī Uilikiní lolotonga e ngaahi taʻu 1960. “ʻOku ʻikai tokalelei e hala ki he [hakeakiʻí]. ʻOku humu pea tō ai ʻa e tokolahi, pea tupu mei heʻenau loto-foʻí ʻoku ʻikai ke nau toe tuʻu hake ʻo kamata foʻou. ʻOku fakapuliki ʻa e halá ʻe he ngaahi mālohi ʻo e tēvoló ʻaki ha ngaahi kakapu, ʻo ne faʻa feinga ke taki kitautolu ʻi ha ngaahi hala te tau hē ai. Ka naʻe ʻomi ʻe Palesiteni Lī ʻa e fakafiemālie ko ʻení, ”Ka ʻi hono kotoa ʻo e fo-nonga ko ʻení, ʻoku tau nonga ʻi heʻetau ʻiloʻi fakapapau te tau ikuna ʻo kapau te tau fili ʻa e totonú, pea ʻe hanga ʻe heʻetau lavaʻi iá ʻo ngaohi mo fakafōtunga kitautolu ke tau hoko ko ha faʻa-hinga kakai feʻunga pea tali kitautolu ʻi he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá. Ngaahi Akonaki ʻa Hāloti B. Lií

ʻOku tokoniʻi fēfē kitautolu ʻe he ʻahiʻahí ke tau hoko ʻo tatau ange mo e ʻOtuá?

ʻOku ʻi ai ʻa e founga siviʻi ʻoku hoko ʻo fakafou mai ʻi he mamahí, ʻa ia ʻoku ou pehē ʻe ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo aʻusia ʻi ha toe founga kehe ka ʻi he mamahí pēu. … ʻOku tau ʻunu ʻo toe ofi ange ai kiate Ia naʻá Ne foaki ʻEne moʻuí kae moʻui ʻa e tangatá. ʻOku tau maʻu ha ongo fakakāinga kuo teʻeki ai ke tau ongoʻi kimuʻau. … Naʻe lahi ange ʻEne mamahí he meʻa ʻoku lava ke tau fakakaukau atu ki aí. Kae hangē ʻoku hanga ʻe he mamahi lahi kuo tau aʻusiá ʻo ʻave kitautolu ke tau toe ofi ange ki he tuʻunga faka-ʻotuá, tokoni ke fakamaʻa ʻa hotau lotó, pea mo toʻo atu e ngaahi meʻa ko ia ʻoku ʻikai fakahōifua ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻEikí. 5

Naʻe pehē ʻe ʻĪsaia: “Ka ko ʻeni, ʻE [ʻEiki], ko koe ko ʻemau tamaí; ko e ʻumea ʻakimautolu, pea ko homau ngaohí koe; pea ko e ngāue ʻa ho nimá ʻakimautolu kotoa pē.” (ʻĪsaia 64:8.)

ʻI heʻeku manatuʻi ʻení, naʻe kamata leva ke u mamata ki he ʻuhinga ʻo e potu folofolá ni. ʻIo, ʻoku fiemaʻu foki ke ʻahiʻahiʻi mo siviʻi kitautolu ʻaki e masivá, mahamahakí, mate hotau ngaahi ʻofaʻangá, fakatauelé, pea taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻi hono lavakiʻi kitautolu ʻe ha niʻihi ʻoku tau lau ko hatau ngaahi kaumeʻa, ʻi he koloá, fiemālié mo e tuʻumālié, ngaahi fakakaukau fakaako ʻoku ʻikai ke moʻoní, pea mo e fakahekeheke ʻa māmaní. Naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻa e meʻá ni ʻe ha tamai ki hano foha ʻo pehē:

“Pea ko e meʻa ke fakahoko ai ʻa hono ngaahi finangalo taʻengata ki he ikuʻanga ʻo e tangatá, naʻe hili leva ʻene ngaohi ʻa ʻetau ʻuluaki mātuʻá, mo e fanga manu ʻo e ngoué mo e fanga manupuna ʻo e ʻataá, pea mo e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē kuo ngaohí, pea naʻe totonu ke ʻi ai ha faikehekehe; ʻio ʻa e fua tapu ʻoku faikehekehe mei he ʻakau ʻo e moʻuí; ko e taha naʻe melie kae mahi ʻa e taha.” [2 Nīfai 2:15.]

Naʻe lea ʻa e Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá ʻo kau ki he foungá ni ʻo ne pehē naʻá ne hangē ha maka ne teka hifo he veʻe moʻungá, pea ko e founga pē naʻe fakasanisaniʻi ai iá ko e taimi naʻe tau ai hano ngaahi tuliki ʻi ha meʻa, pea mapaki atu ai e tepuʻi maka ko iá. ʻI hono tataki kitautolu ʻe he tui ʻoku akoʻi mai ʻe he folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá, ʻoku tau vakai atu ki he moʻuí ko ha founga pē ia ke akoʻi ai ʻa e laumālié. ʻOku ʻafio mai ha Tamai ʻofa ka tau ako mei he “ngaahi meʻa ʻoku tau mamahi aí,” ʻoku tau maʻu ha ivi ʻi heʻetau lavaʻi e ngaahi faingataʻá, pea ʻoku tau ikunaʻi ʻa e ilifiá ʻaki ʻetau ngaahi ikuna kāfakafa ʻi he ngaahi feituʻu ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e faingataʻá [vakai ki he Hepelū 5:8]. ʻOku mahino kia kitautolu ʻi he tuí, ʻo hangē ko ia ʻoku ʻakoʻi mai ʻe he folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá, ko e hā pē ha meʻa he moʻuí ʻoku tokoni ki he tuʻunga ʻulungāanga ne fokotuʻu ʻe Sīsū—”Ke haohaoa ʻa kimoutolu he ʻoku haohaoa ʻa hoʻomou Tamai ʻi he langí” (Mātiu 5:48)—ʻoku kaunga lelei ia kia kitautolu mo ʻetau lelei taʻengatá neongo ʻe hoko ʻi hono fakatupulaki kitautolú ha fakatonutonu kakaha mei he ʻOtua potó. “He ko ia ʻoku ʻofa ki ai ʻa e ʻEikí ʻokú ne tautea, pea ʻokú ne teʻia ʻa e foha kotoa pē ʻokú ne maʻú.” (Hepelū 12:6.)

Hili ʻosi hono akoʻi mo toutou sivi kitautolu ke fefaʻuhi mo e ngaahi mālohi ʻo e fakapoʻulí, pea mo e kovi fakalaumālié, ʻe “fakaʻapiʻapi [kitautolu] mei he potu kotoa pē, ka ʻoku ʻikai ʻefituʻu; moʻua pē, kae ʻikai taʻe ha tokoni; ʻOku fakatangaʻi, ka ʻoku ʻikai liʻaki; kuo lī ki lalo, kae ʻikai tāmateʻi.“ (2 Kolinitō 4:8–9.)7

ʻOku lau ʻe he taha ʻoku ʻi ai ʻene fakamoʻoni ki he taumuʻa ʻo e moʻuí, ko e ngaahi faingataʻa mo e ngaahi ʻahiʻahi ʻo e moʻuí ko ha ngaahi faingamālie ia ke ne maʻu ai e poto ʻoku fie maʻu ki he ngāue ʻo e taʻengatáu. …

ʻOku ʻikai manavahē ʻa e tokotaha peheé ʻi he taimi ʻokú ne fehangahangai ai mo e maté ʻo kapau kuó ne “topuvaʻe ʻaki ʻa e teuteu ʻo e ongoongolelei ʻo e melinó,“ [ʻEfesō 6:15] pea ʻe maʻu ʻe kinautolu kuo mate hanau ngaahi ʻofaʻangá e tui ʻa e ʻeikitau ko Molonaí ʻi heʻene pehē, “He ʻoku tuku ʻe he ʻEikí ke tāmateʻi ʻa e kau māʻoniʻoní koeʻuhí ke hoko ʻene fakamāú mo e tauteá ki he kau angahalá; ko ia ʻoku ʻikai ʻaonga ke mou mahalo kuo mole ʻa e kau māʻoniʻoní koeʻuhí kuo nau tō; kae vakai, ʻoku nau hū ki he mālōlōʻanga ʻo e ʻEiki ko honau ʻOtuá.” (ʻAlamā 60:13)8

Fakafanongo mai ki he lēsoni ʻoku ʻomai ʻe he ʻEikí ʻo kau ki hono tauhi mo tokangaʻi ʻo e tangatá—”Ko e vaʻa kotoa pē ʻoku fuá kuo pau ke ʻauhani ia koeʻuhí ke toe ʻāsili ange ʻene fuá” (vakai, Sione 15:2). …

ʻOku tātātaha, ke ʻi ai ha tangata maʻongoʻonga moʻoni kuo teʻeki ʻahiʻahiʻi mo siviʻi ʻo fakafou ʻi he mamahí mo e faingataʻá— ʻa ia ne ʻauhani ʻe he nima ʻo e ʻeiki ʻo e ngoué. ʻI hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻo e helé mo e ukamea piko ki he ʻauhaní, ʻoku fakafōtunga mo fakafuo ai ʻa e vaʻá ki he sīpinga māfimafi ʻa e ʻOtuá, kae lava ʻo lakufua mai ke lahi.

Kuo pau ke mou kātakiʻi kotoa ʻa e ngaahi ʻahiʻahí, ngaahi faingataʻá, ngaahi loto-mamahí pea mo e loto-foʻí. Kapau te mou manatuʻi, ʻe fakafiemālieʻi kimoutolu ʻi he taimi ʻo e mamahí mo e taumuʻa valeá ʻo ka mou ka ako ʻa e lēsoni ko ʻení: “He ko ia ʻoku ʻofa ki ai ʻa e ʻEikí ʻokú ne tautea, pea ʻokú ne teʻia ʻa e foha kotoa pē ʻokú ne maʻú” (Hepelū 12:6)—pea mo ʻeni: “ʻE hoku foha, ʻoua naʻá ke manukiʻi ʻa e tautea mei [he ʻEikí]; pea ʻoua naʻá ke fiu ʻi heʻene valokí: He ko ia ʻoku ʻofa ki ai ʻa [e ʻEikí] ʻokú ne tautea; ʻo hangē pē ko e tamai ki he foha ʻokú ne fiemālie aí” (Lea Fakatātā 3:11–12).9

Naʻe hohaʻa ʻa e loto ʻo e Palōfita ko Siosefa [Sāmitá] … koeʻuhí ko e ngaahi fakatanga naʻe fai ki he Kāingalotú pea ʻoku mou manatuʻi naʻá ne tangi lolotonga ʻene faingataʻaʻiá ʻo pehē, “ʻE ʻOtua, ʻe fēfē hono fuoloa pea ʻafio ʻa ho fofongá mo fanongo ʻa ho telingá ki he ngaahi tangi ʻa e Kāingalotú pea sauni ʻa honau ngaohikoviá ʻi he ʻulu ʻo honau ngaahi filí?” [Vakai ki he T&F 121:1–6.] Pea naʻe hangē ia ko hano fua hake ʻe he ʻEikí ha tamasiʻi manavahē mo ne folofola ange:

“ʻE hoku foha, ke ʻi ho lotó ʻa e melinó; ʻe kiʻi fuofuoloa siʻi pē ʻa hoʻo faingataʻaʻiá pea mo hoʻo ngaahi mamahí;

“Pea ʻe toki hakeakiʻi koe ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻi ʻolunga ʻo kapau te ke kātakiʻi ia ʻo lelei; te ke ikunaʻi ʻa ho ngaahi fili kotoa pē.” (T&F 121:7, 8)

Hili ko iá naʻá ne folofola ʻaki ha meʻa naʻe fakaofo:

“ … ke ke ʻilo ʻe hoku foha, ʻe foaki ʻe he ngaahi meʻá ni kotoa pē ʻa e poto kiate koe, pea ʻe hoko ʻo ʻaonga ia kiate koe.” (T&F 122:7)

… Pea toe folofola ʻa e ʻEikí:

“Naʻe ʻalu hifo ʻa e Foha ʻo e Tangatá ʻo māʻulalo ange ʻiate kinautolu kotoa pē. ʻOkú ke lahi ange koe ʻiate ia?

“Ko ia, piki maʻu ki ho haláu. … ʻOua te ke manavahē ki he meʻa ʻe lava ke fai ʻe he tangatá, koeʻuhí he ʻe ʻiate koe ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻo taʻe-ngata pea taʻengata.” (T&F 122:8, 9)

Naʻe ʻi ai ha taimi ʻi heʻeku moʻuí naʻá ku fakaʻaongaʻi ai ʻa e folofola ko iá kiate au. Naʻe foua e ngaahi meʻá ni ʻe he Foha ʻo e Tangatá.10

ʻOku fakamatalaʻi fakahā mahino mai pē ʻa e ʻuhinga ʻoku tau ʻi heni aí ʻi he fakahā naʻe fai ʻe he ʻEikí kia Mōsesé. Naʻá Ne pehē,“He ko ʻeku ngāué ʻeni mo hoku nāunaú—ke fakahoko ʻa e moʻui taʻematé mo e moʻui taʻengata ʻa e tangatá.” [Mōsese 1:39.] “ ʻOku ʻuhinga ʻa e moʻui taʻengata ʻa e tangatá” ki he toe foki ki he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtua ko e Tamaí mo Hono ʻAló ʻo nofo fakataha mo Kinaua ʻo taʻengata. Ko ʻeni, naʻe ʻikai te Ne pehē ko ʻEne taumuʻá ke moʻui moʻumoʻua ʻa ʻEne fānaú kotoa ʻi he māmaní, ʻo koloaʻia mo fiemālie pea ʻikai ke nau toe mamahiʻia pe loto mamahi. Naʻe ʻikai te Ne folofola pehē. Hangē ko hono fakalea ʻe ʻĪsaiá, ko e taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻoku tupu hake ʻa e ʻakau talatalá ʻo hoko ko ha fuʻu fea fakaʻofoʻofa [vakai ki he ʻĪsaia 55:13]. … Ko e meʻa ko ia ʻoku hā ngali fakamamahi he taimi ní, ʻo kapau te tau vakai ki ai mei he poto ʻa ʻetau Tamaí, ʻo kamata mei hono kamataʻangá ki hono ikuʻangá, ko e taha ia ʻo e ngaahi tāpuaki maʻongoʻonga tahá kae ʻikai fakaiku mamahi ʻo hangē ko ia ne tau pehē ʻe hokó.11

Te tau lava fēfē ke maʻu ʻa e mālohi mo e melino ʻi lotó ʻi he ngaahi taimi faingataʻá?

Kuo pau ke siviʻi mo ʻahiʻahiʻi ʻa e tokotaha kotoa pē ʻi he māmaní, ʻa koe mo au, mo kitautolu kotoa—pe ʻoku tau koloaʻia pe masiva, anga-lelei pe anga-kovi, kei talavou pe motuʻa—ʻaki ʻa e ngaahi matangi tō takutaku ʻo e ʻahiʻahí, ko e tuʻoni matangi kuo pau ke tau maluʻi kitautolu mei ai. Pea ko kinautolu pē naʻe langa honau ngaahi falé ʻi he funga maká he ʻikai ke nau toó. Pea ko e hā ʻa e maká? Ko e maka ia ʻo e talangofua ki he ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni mo e ngaahi akonaki ʻo e ongoongolelei ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí ʻo hangē ko ia naʻe akonaki ʻaki ʻ e he ʻEikí.12

Ko ia ʻoku ou fakaafeʻi ai kimoutolu ke mou loto fakatōkilalo … pea toʻa ʻi he faʻa lotu, ke tui ki he ngaahi meʻa kotoa ko ia kuo akonekina kitautolu ʻe he kau palōfita māʻoniʻoní ʻo kau ki he ongoongoleleí mei he Ngaahi Tohitapu Māʻoniʻoní talu mei he kamataʻangá.13

Ko ia ʻoku ʻikai ko e ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga ʻi he moʻuí ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hoko kia kimoutolú, ka ko e meʻa ʻoku mahuʻingá ʻa e anga hoʻo tali iá. Ko e meʻa mahuʻingá ia. ʻI he fakaʻosinga ʻo e Malanga he Moʻungá, ʻoku mou manatuʻi naʻe fai ʻe he ʻEikí ha talanoa fakatātā. Naʻá ne pehē:

“Ko ia ʻokú ne fanongo ki heʻeku talá ni, pea fai ki aí, te u fakatatau ia ki he tangata poto, naʻe langa hono falé ʻi he funga maka:

“Pea tō ʻa e ʻuhá, pea ʻoho mai ʻa e vaí, pea hoko mo e havilí, ʻo tō ki he fale ko iá; ka naʻe ʻikai holo ia: he naʻe langa ia ʻi he funga maka. …” [Mātiu 7:24–25.]

Ko e hā e meʻa naʻá ne feinga ke fakamamafaʻi hení? Naʻá ne feinga ke tala mai ʻe tō ki he fale ʻo e tangata kotoa pē ʻi he māmaní ha ngaahi matangi ʻo e ʻahiʻahí, ha ngaahi lōmaki ʻo e tuʻutāmakí, mo ha ngaahi faingataʻa; pea ko kinautolu pē ʻe ʻikai toó—ʻi he taimi ʻe ʻikai maʻu ai ha paʻangá, mate ha taha ʻokú ke ʻofa ai pe ko ha toe faʻahinga fakatamaki pē—ko e meʻa pē ʻe taha te ne kei tokoniʻi kitautolu lolotonga e ngaahi matangi mālohi mo e ngaahi faingataʻa ko ʻeni ʻo e moʻuí, ko haʻatau langa ʻi he funga maká ʻaki ʻetau tauhi e ngaahi fekau ʻa e ʻOtuá. …

Tatali ʻi he faʻa kātaki ki he ʻEikí ʻi he taimi ʻo e fakatangá mo e ngaahi fakamamahi lahí. Naʻe folofola ʻa e ʻEiki,

“Ko e moʻoni ʻoku ou pehē kiate kimoutolu, ʻe hoku ngaahi kaumeʻa, ʻoua ʻe manavahē, tuku ke fiemālie ʻa homou lotó; ʻio, fiefia maʻu ai pē, pea ʻatu ʻa e fakafetaʻi ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē;
