Ngaahi Akonaki ‘a Hāloti B. Lií

ʻOku tāpuekina fēfē kitautolu ʻe heʻetau ʻilo ko e ngaahi foha mo e ngaahi ʻofefine fakalaumālie kitautolu ʻo e Tamai Hēvaní?

Ko hai kitautolu? … Naʻe hiki ʻe he ʻAposetolo ko Paulá: “Kae ʻumaʻā, naʻe tautea ʻa kitautolu ʻe he ngaahi tamai ʻo hotau sinó, pea tau fakaʻapaʻapa ki ai: ʻe ʻikai lahi [ange] ʻetau fakavaivai ki he Tamai ʻo e ngaahi laumālié, pea moʻui?” … Naʻe folofola ʻa e ʻEikí kia Mōsese mo ʻĒlone, “[Fakamavahe] ʻa kimoua mei he kakaí ni, koeʻuhí ke u fakaʻauha leva ʻa kinautolu.” Naʻe lili ʻa ʻene houhaú ki he kakai taʻe anga-tonú ni, ka naʻe tō foʻohifo ʻa Mōsese mo ʻĒlone ʻi hona matá mo pehē, “ʻE ʻOtua, ko e ʻOtua ʻo e laumālie ʻo e kakai kotoa pē, ʻe angahala [nai] ha toko taha, pea te ke houhau [ai] ki he kakaí kotoa pē?” [Nōmipa 16:21–22.] ʻOku mou fakatokangaʻi ʻa e anga ʻo ʻena fakataufolofola ki aí? Ko e ʻOtua ʻo e ngaahi laumālie ʻo e kakai kotoa pē. …

Ko e taha ʻo e ngaahi folofola motuʻa taha ʻoku tau maʻú ne tau maʻu ia ʻi ha founga fakaofo moʻoni—ʻoku tau ui ia ko e Mataʻi Tofe Mahuʻingá. Ko e taha ʻo e ngaahi tohi maʻongoʻonga ʻo e folofola mahuʻingá ni ʻoku ui ia ko e tohi ʻa ʻĒpalahame. ʻOku tau maʻu ʻeni ʻi he tohi ko iá:

“Ko ʻeni, kuo fakahā ʻe he ʻEikí kiate au, ʻa ia ko ʻĒpalahame, ʻa e kau maʻu ʻatamai ʻa ia naʻe fakatupu ʻi he teʻeki ai ke ʻi ai ʻa e māmaní; pea naʻe ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo kinautolú ni kotoa pē ʻa e tokolahi naʻe ngali ʻeiki mo lahi;

“Pea naʻe tuʻu ʻa e tokotaha ʻi honau haʻohaʻongá ʻa ia naʻe tatau mo e ʻOtuá, peá ne folofola ange kiate kinautolu naʻe ʻiate iá: Te tau ʻalu hifo, he ʻoku ʻi hena ha vahaʻa ʻataʻatā, pea te tau toʻo mei he ngaahi meʻá ni pea te tau fakatupu ha maama ʻa ia ʻe lava ke nofo ai ʻa kinautolú ni;

“Pea te tau ʻahiʻahiʻi ʻa kinautolu ʻi he meʻá ni ke [vakaiʻi] pe te nau fai ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻe fekau ʻe he ʻEiki ko honau ʻOtuá kia kinautolú;

“Pea ko kinautolu ʻe tauhi ki honau muʻaki tuʻungá, ʻe fakalahi kiate kinautolu; pea ʻe ʻikai maʻu ʻe kinautolu ʻe taʻe tauhi ki honau muʻaki tuʻungá ʻa e nāunau ʻi he puleʻanga tatau mo kinautolu ʻe tauhi ki honau muʻaki tuʻungá; pea ko kinautolu ʻe tauhi ki honau tuʻunga hono uá ʻe fakalahi ʻaki ʻa e nāunau ki honau ʻulú ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata” [ʻĒpalahame 3:22–26].

ʻOku tau maʻu heni ha ngaahi moʻoni mahuʻinga lahi ʻi he folofola ko iá. ʻI he konga ʻuluakí, ʻoku fakalika mai pē, hangē hano fakaʻali mai pē pe ko e hā ʻa e meʻa ko e laumālie. Ne mou fakatokangaʻi e lea ʻa ʻĒpalahamé, ko e laumālié ko ha ʻatamai kuo maau. Ko e ʻuluaki kamataʻanga ʻeni ʻene mahino kia kitautolu pe ko e hā ʻa e laumālié. Ko ha ʻatamai ia kuo maau pea ne moʻui ko ha laumālie ki muʻa ʻoku teʻeki ʻi ai ʻa e māmaní. ʻOku fōtunga fēfē leva ʻa e laumālié? Ne ʻosi fakafou mai ʻe he ʻEikí ʻi he Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá, ha tali fakalaumālie, pea ko hono konga ʻoku peheni ia: “Ko e meʻa ʻoku anga fakalaumālié ʻoku ʻi he tatau ia ʻo e meʻa ʻoku anga fakaemāmani; pea ko e meʻa ʻoku anga fakaemāmaní ʻoku ʻi he tatau ia ʻo e meʻa ʻoku anga fakalaumālie.” Ka ko ʻeni, fanongo, “ko e laumālie ʻo e tangatá ʻoku ʻi he tatau ia ʻo hono sinó, ʻo hangē foki ko e laumālie ʻo e manú, pea mo e meʻa moʻui kehe kotoa pē ʻa ia kuo fakatupu ʻe he ʻOtuá.” [T&F 77:2.]

Sai, ʻoku mou mamata mai kia au ʻi heni, ko ha tangata kuo fuʻu lahi. ʻOku ʻi ai haku konga ʻoku ʻikai ke mou lava ʻo mamata ki ai ʻaki homou mata fakaematelié—ko hoku konga fakalaumālie ko ia ʻoku sio atu ʻo fakafou ʻi hoku matá pea ʻokú ne ʻomi ʻa e mālohi ke ngaue, mo ʻomi ʻa e ʻiló mo e poto fakaʻatamaí. …

… ʻOku hoko ʻa e foʻi moʻoni ko ia ʻokú ta ʻi heni he māmaní ʻo ʻi ai ha ta sino fakamatelié ko ha fakamoʻoni ne ta kau ʻia kinautolu ne nau tauhi honau muʻaki tuʻungá; ne ta lavaʻi ʻa e siví pea fakangofua ai ke ta omi ki heni. Kapau naʻe ʻikai ke ta lavaʻi ʻa e siví he ʻikai ke ta ʻi heni; ne ta mei nofo mo Sētane ʻo feinga ke fakatauveleʻi ʻa kinautolu ʻoku ʻi ai honau sinó. …

Ko e hā kuo pau ai ke tau faivelenga ka tau lava ʻo fakakakato ʻi māmani, hotau ngaahi misiona ne tomuʻa fakanofo kitautolu ki aí?

ʻI he hili ko ia ʻetau fakamahinoʻi hotau tuʻunga ʻi he maama fakalaumālié, pe ko hai kitautolú—ko e ngaahi foha mo e ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo ha ʻOtua ki muʻa pea toki fakatupu ʻa e māmaní, pea mo e Tamai ʻa e laumālie ʻo e kakai kotoa pē kuo moʻui ʻi he kakanó he māmaní—ʻoku tau toki mateuteu leva ke hoko atu ki he tali hono ua ʻo e fehuʻí. ʻI he meʻa ko ia ne u lau atu mei he tohi ʻa ʻĒpalahamé, ʻi he veesi hono 23, ne mou fanongo ai ki hono fakahā ange kia ʻĒpalahame naʻe fakanofo ia pe fili ki muʻa ʻoku teʻeki fanauʻí. Naʻe fakahā kia Mōsese ʻa e meʻa tatau pē. …

“Pea ʻi heʻene ui ki he huafa ʻo e ʻOtuá, naʻá ne [Mōsese] toe mamata ki hono nāunaú, he naʻe nofo ia ʻiate ia; peá ne fanongo ki ha leʻo ʻoku pehē: ʻOkú ke monūʻia ʻe Mōsese, he ko au ko e Māfimafí, kuó u fili koe pea ʻe fakamālohi koe ke ke mālohi ange ʻi he ngaahi vai lahí; he ʻe talangofua ia ki hoʻo fekaú ʻo hangē nai ko e ʻOtuá koé” [Mōsese 1:25]. Ko hono misioná ia ke hoko ko ha pule maʻongoʻonga mo mālohi. Naʻe folofola ʻaki ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e meʻa tatau kia Selemaia, “Naʻá ku ʻilo koe ʻi heʻeki ai te u fakatupu koe ʻi he fatú; pea naʻá ku fakatapuʻi koe, pea tuʻutuʻuni koe, ko e palōfita ki he ngaahi puleʻangá” [Selemaia 1:5]. ʻI hono fakamahino lahi ange ʻe Siosefa Sāmitá, naʻá ne tala mai ai: “Ko e tangata kotoa pē kuó ne maʻu ha uiuiʻi ke ne ngāue ki he kakai o māmaní, naʻe tomuʻa fakanofo ia ki he taumuʻa ko iá ʻi he Fakataha Alēlea Lahi ʻi he langí ki muʻa ʻoku teʻeki fakatupu ʻa e māmaní.” Hili ia peá ne toki pehē, “Te u pehē naʻe tomuʻa faka-nofo au ki he tuʻunga ko ʻení ʻi he Fakataha Alēlea Lahi ko iá.” [History of the Church, 6:364.]

Ko ha fakatokanga mamafa ʻeni. Neongo ʻa e uiuiʻi ko iá, ne fakahū ʻe he ʻEikí ki he fakakaukau ʻa e Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá pea naʻá ne hiki ia …, “Vakai, ʻoku ui ʻa e tokolahi, kae fili ʻa e tokosiʻi.” Ko hono fakalea ʻe tahá, … tuʻunga ʻi heʻetau maʻu ʻi heni ʻetau tauʻatāina ke filí, ʻoku ʻi ai ai ha tokolahi fau ne tomuʻa fakanofo ki ha ngāue ʻoku maʻongoʻonga lahi ange ʻi heʻenau teuteu ʻoku fai ʻi hení. Ka ko ʻeni naʻá ne pehē, “Pea ko e hā ʻoku ʻikai fili ai kinautolú?” Pea ʻokú ne ʻomi ha ʻuhinga ʻe ua ʻoku ʻikai aʻusia ai ʻe he tangatá ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga ko iá. ʻUluakí, “koeʻuhí he ʻoku mālohi pehē fau hono tuku ʻo honau lotó ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻo e māmaní,” pea ko hono uá, ʻoku nau “holi ki he fakaʻapaʻapa ʻa e kakaí, ʻoku ʻikai ai te nau ʻiloʻi ʻa e moʻoni ʻe taha ko ʻení—ko e ngaahi totonu ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí, kuo fakamaʻu taʻe lava ke veteki ki he ngaahi mālohi ʻo e langí” [T&F 121:34–36].2

ʻOua naʻa maʻu hala ʻo pehē ʻoku fakapapauʻi mai ʻe he faʻahinga uiuiʻi pe tomuʻa fakanofo ko ʻení ʻa e meʻa kuo pau ke ke fakahokó. Ne lea mahino ha palōfita ʻi he konitinēniti fakahihifó ni ʻo fekauʻaki mo e kaveingá ni: “Naʻe uiuiʻi mo teuteuʻi ʻa kinautolu talu mei he fokotuʻu ʻo māmaní ʻo fakatatau ki he tomuʻa ʻafioʻi [ʻe he] ʻOtuá, tuʻunga ʻi heʻenau fuʻu tui lahi mo e ngaahi ngāue leleí; kuo tomuʻa tuku kiate kinautolu ke nau fili ʻa e leleí pe ko e koví” (ʻAlamā 13:3.) … ʻE lava pē ke uiuiʻi ʻe he ʻOtuá ha kau tangata ʻi he maama fakalaumālié pe ʻi honau muʻaki tuʻungá ke nau fakahoko ha faʻahinga ngāue, ka ko e tuʻunga ki heʻenau tali ʻa e uiuiʻi ko iá ʻi he māmaní mo fakahoko ʻi he faivelenga mo ngāue lelei ʻi heʻenau kei ʻi he moʻui fakamatelié, ko e meʻa ia ʻanautolu ʻo faka-tatau mo ʻenau totonú pea mo honau faingamālie ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻenau tauʻatāina ke filí ke fili ki he leleí pe koví.3

ʻOku tokoni fēfē ʻetau ʻilo pe ko hai kitautolú ki heʻetau fakaʻaongaʻi ʻetau tauʻatāina ke filí?

Ko e hā mo ha to e meʻa kuo tala mai fekauʻaki mo kitautolu? Kuo tau maʻu ʻetau tauʻatāina ke filí, kae tuku muʻa ke u lau atu ha meʻa fekauʻaki mo ia. Fakaʻilongaʻi ange muʻa ʻa e 2 Nīfai vahe uá, veesi 15 mo e 16. Te u tala atu pē, te u pehē ko ha meʻa tuʻu fakatuʻutāmaki moʻoni hono fakaʻatā ʻe heʻetau Tamaí ke fekauʻi mai kitautolu mo e faʻahinga monūʻia ko ia ʻo e tauʻatāina ke fai haʻatau filí.
