ʻI he ʻosi hono fakatupu ʻo e māmaní, naʻe hōifua ʻa e ʻOtuá koeʻuhi naʻá Ne ʻafioʻi ʻe tokoni ia ki Heʻene taumuʻa maʻatautolu ko ʻEne fānaú.3 Ne ʻikai ʻomi noa pē e ngaahi foha mo e ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo e ʻOtuá mo e ngaahi fāmili ʻoku nau faʻú ki he māmani ko ʻení; ka ʻoku nau mahuʻinga ki hono taumuʻá.4

ʻOku talaʻofa mai ʻe he ʻEikí kiate kitautolu kapau te tau muimui ʻiate Ia pea ngāue fakapotopoto ʻaki e ngaahi maʻuʻanga tokoni ʻo e māmaní ʻi he fakafetaʻi mo e fakaʻapaʻapa, ʻoku “[tau] maʻu ʻa e mahu ʻo māmaní, ʻa e fanga manu ʻo e vaó mo e fanga manupuna ʻo e ʻataa. … Pea ʻoku fiefia ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻi heʻene foaki mai ʻa e ngaahi meʻá ni kotoa pē ki he faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá; he ko hono ʻuhinga ʻeni naʻe ngaohi ai iá, ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻi he fakapotopoto, kae ʻikai ke fuʻu hulu, pea ʻikai foki ʻi he fakamālohi” (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 59:16, 20).

Ne lekooti ʻe ʻĪnoke naʻe tutulu ʻa e ʻOtuá koeʻuhi ko e ngaahi fili taʻefakapotopoto mo siokita ʻa ʻEne fānaú.7 Naʻe kikite ʻa Molonai ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho fakaʻosí ʻe ʻi ai ʻa e “ngaahi afí, mo e ngaahi afaá, mo e ngaahi kohu ʻo e afi … [mo e] ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ʻi he funga ʻo e māmaní,” pea ʻe hoko fakataha e ngaahi tūkunga ko iá mo e “faʻahinga anga-fakalielia kotoa pē; ʻi he taimi ʻe ʻi ai ha tokolahi te nau pehē, Fai ʻeni, pe fai ʻena, pea ʻoku tatau ai pē” (Molomona 8:29, 31). ʻI he taimi ʻoku fakaʻuliʻi fakalaumālie pe fakatuʻasino ai ʻe he tangatá ʻa e māmaní, ʻoku ʻikai ngata pē ʻi he [mamahi ʻa e] ʻOtuá ka ʻoku toe mamahi foki mo natula!8

Ko e meʻa mahuʻingá, he ʻoku maʻu ʻe he ngaahi tāpuaki mo e mālohi ʻoku lava ke fou mai ʻi he Siasi ʻo e ʻEikí mo e ongoongolelei kuo fakafoki maí ʻa e ivi malava ke fakalahi mo liliu e laumālie ʻo e tangatá ʻo ope atu ʻi he meʻa te ne malavá, ke fakalotoa ʻa e ʻofa ʻa e ʻOtuá mo ʻEne ngaahi fakatupú, pea mo tokoniʻi kitautolu ke tau fakakaukau ki he lelei ʻa e niʻihi kehé mo faʻa fakakaukau ki he ngaahi fiemaʻu ʻa e toʻu tangata ka hoko maí.

ʻOku ʻOmi Kitautolu ʻe Natula ke Tau Ofi Ange ki he ʻOtuá

ʻOku maʻongoʻonga ange ʻa e māmaní mo e meʻa moʻui kotoa pē ʻi ha ngaahi meʻa pē ke fakaʻaongaʻi mo/pe maluʻi; ʻoku ʻi ai foki mo ha ngaahi meʻa ai ʻoku totonu ke fakatolonga! Ko e natula kei haohaoá mo e “ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku tupu mei he kelekelé … kuo ngaohi ia ke ʻaonga … [ki] he faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá, ke fakamānako ki he matá pea fakafiefia foki ki he lotó … pea fakaake ʻa e laumālié” (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 59:18–19).

ʻOku ʻomi kitautolu ʻe natula ʻi hono tuʻunga haohaoá ke tau ofi ange ki he ʻOtuá, fakaʻataʻatā ʻa e ʻatamaí mo e lotó mei he longoaʻa mo e ngaahi fakahohaʻa ʻo e koloa fakatuʻasinó, hiki hake kitautolu ki ha tuʻunga māʻolunga ange, ivi tākiekina lahi ange pea tokoniʻi kitautolu ke tau ʻilo lelei ange ki hotau ʻOtuá: “ʻOku takai ʻa e māmaní ʻi hono ongo kapakaú, pea ʻoku foaki mai ʻe he laʻaá ʻa hono māmá ʻi he ʻahó, pea ʻoku foaki ʻe he māhiná ʻa hono māmá ʻi he poʻulí, pea ʻoku foaki mai foki ʻe he ngaahi fetuʻú ʻa hono māmá. … ʻIlonga ha [taha] kuó ne mamata ki ha taha pe ko e siʻi taha ʻo e ngaahi meʻa ní, kuó ne mamata ki he ʻOtuá ʻoku hāʻele ʻi hono ngeiá mo e mafimafí” (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 88:45, 47).

ʻOku ou kei saiʻia pē ke kaka māʻolunga he ʻotu moʻungá ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo e ngaahi maka kalānite fakaʻofoʻofa mo lilifá. Neongo ʻoku longonoa, ka ʻoku nau lea ʻaki ʻa e mālohi mo e ngeia ʻo e ʻOtuá—pea mo e fakaʻofoʻofa ʻo ʻEne poto taʻe-mafakatatauá. Hangē ko e fakamoʻoni ʻa ʻAlamaá, “ʻOku fakahā ʻe he meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi ai ha ʻOtua; ʻio, naʻa mo e māmaní pea mo e ngaahi meʻa kotoa ʻoku ʻi hono funga ʻo iá, … ʻoku nau fakamoʻoni ʻoku ʻi ai ha Tupuʻanga Fungani Māʻolunga” (ʻAlamā 30:44).

ʻOku ou saiʻia ʻi he sio fetuʻu he poʻulí, ʻo feinga ke makupusi ʻe hoku ʻatamaí ʻa e lahi fau ʻo e fetuʻu ʻi he ʻataá ʻoku ou lava ʻo sio ki aí. ʻOku ou ofo maʻu pē ʻi he ʻilo ko ia ʻoku haʻu ʻi he ngaahi momeniti longonoa ko ʻení, he neongo e lahi fau ʻa e ʻunivēsí ka ʻoku ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e taʻeʻiloa ko aú. Pea ʻokú Ne ʻafioʻi kitautolu fakafoʻituitui. ʻOku fakamoʻoni ʻa e fakatupú ki he Tokotaha Fakatupú, pea kapau te tau tauhi ʻa e ngaahi feituʻu makehe mo teʻeki maumauʻi ko ʻení, te nau fakamoʻoni mahino mo loloto ki hotau ʻOtuá mo fakalotoʻi kitautolu ke tau hokohoko atu.
