Naʻe nofo ʻa ʻIfalemi Hanisi ʻi ha ngaahi ʻaho lahi ʻo hiki mei he tēniti ki he tēniti ʻi hono tāpuakiʻi ʻo e kau puké. Naʻe ʻikai ngata pē ʻi he hoko ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi ko e taki ʻi hono taukapoʻi ʻa e palani ʻa ʻetau Tamaí, ka te Ne toe fuesia foki mo e fatongia mahuʻinga taha ʻi hono fakahoko iá. Naʻá Ne tali ki he Tamaí pea finangalo ke foaki ʻEne moʻuí “ko e totongi huhuʻi maʻá e kakai kotoa pē,”8 ke totongi ha moʻua te tau takitaha maʻu ʻi he angahalá ka naʻe ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo totongi ʻiate kitautolu pē.

ʻI he fehangahangai ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻi he Ngoue ko Ketisemaní, mo ha ngāue mafatukituki peheé, naʻá Ne folofola loto-toʻa ʻo pehē, “ʻOua naʻa fai hoku lotó, ka ko e finangalo ʻoʻoú,” pea hoko atu ke toʻo kiate Ia ʻa e ngaahi mamahí, mahamahakí, mo e faingataʻaʻiá koeʻuhí ko e ngaahi angahala ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē ʻe moʻuí.10 ʻI ha ngāue haohaoa ʻo e talangofuá mo e mateakí, naʻe fakakakato ai ʻe Sīsū Kalaisi ʻa e ngāue fisifisimuʻa mo toʻa ʻi he kotoa ʻo e fakatupú, ʻo fakaʻosi ʻaki ʻEne Toetuʻu nāunauʻiá.

Naʻe fakamanatu mai ʻe Palesiteni Lāsolo M. Nalesoni ʻi heʻetau konifelenisi lahi fakamuimuitahá: “Ko e hā pē haʻamou ngaahi fehuʻi pe palopalema, ʻoku maʻu maʻu pē ʻa e talí ʻi he moʻui mo e ngaahi akonaki ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí. Ako lahi ange fekauʻaki mo ʻEne Fakaleleí, ʻEne ʻofá, ʻEne ʻaloʻofá, ʻEne tokāteliné, mo ʻEne ongoongolelei ʻo e faifakamoʻuí mo e fakalakalaká kuo fakafoki maí. Tafoki kiate Ia! Muimui ʻiate Ia!”11 Pea te u tānaki atu ki ai, “Fili Ia.”

ʻI he tūʻuta homau fāmilí ki Sipeini ke kamata ʻema ngāue ko e ongo taki fakamisioná, ne ma maʻu ai ha kupuʻi lea meia ʻEletā Niila A. Mekisuele naʻe fakaʻesia ʻa ia naʻe ʻi ai ʻene kaunga ki he kau moʻungaʻi tangata ʻoku tau fili ke muimui ki aí. Naʻá ne pehē, “Kapau kuo teʻeki ke ke ʻuluaki fili ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá, he ʻikai mahuʻinga ʻi he ngataʻangá ʻa e meʻa kuó ke filí.”12 Kāinga, ʻoku tau fili ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻi heʻetau fili ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi, ko e Tuʻi ʻo e ngaahi tuʻí. ʻOku tau lau ʻi he Tohi ʻa Tanielá ʻi he Fuakava Motuʻá, ʻa e fakamatala kia Setaleki, Mēsake mo ʻApitenikoó, ʻa ia naʻa nau ʻiloʻi lelei ʻa e moʻungaʻi tangata ke nau filí—pea naʻe ʻikai ko ha taha ia ʻo e ngaahi ʻotua ʻa e Tuʻi ko Nepukanesá. Naʻa nau fakahaaʻi ʻi he loto-falala:

“ʻOku mālohi ʻa homau ʻOtuá, ʻa ia ʻoku mau tauhí, ke fakahaofi ʻa kimautolu mei he afi vela kakahá. …

“Pea kapau ʻe ʻikai, ke ke ʻilo pē ʻe tuʻi, ʻe ʻikai te mau tauhiʻi ho ngaahi ʻotuá, pe hū ki he meʻa fakatātā koulá.”13

ʻOku tau fili Ia, ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi, ʻi heʻetau fili ke tauhi Hono ʻahó tatau ai pē pe ʻoku tau ʻi ʻapi pe ʻeveʻeva mālōlō. ʻOku tau fili Ia ʻi heʻetau fili ʻEne ngaahi folofolá ʻi he ngaahi tohi folofolá mo e ngaahi akonaki ʻa e kau palōfita moʻuí. ʻOku tau fili Ia ʻi heʻetau fili ke maʻu ha lekomeni temipalé pea moʻui taau ki hono fakaʻaongaʻí. ʻOku tau fili Ia ʻi heʻetau hoko ko ha kau faʻa fakaleleí pea ʻikai loto ke fakakikihi, “tautautefito ki he taimi ʻoku kehekehe ai ʻetau fakakaukaú.”15
